A Miracle Takes Place in the Family of a Dafa Practitioner

(Clearwisdom.net) I am an old man in my 80s. In May of last year, I became seriously ill, and a huge growth as big as an egg was found in my mouth cavity. My daughter is a Falun Dafa practitioner. She took me to many big hospitals for treatment and the diagnosis was lymphatic cancer. I was told that it could not be cured.

The doctor told my family to prepare for my wake. My children bought my shroud and coffin. I had given up hope and the doctors and nurses had all given up treating me.

At that point in time, my daughter that cultivates Falun Dafa said to me, "Dad, please renounce your Communist Party membership. This will guarantee your safety. Please have faith in Falun Dafa. Please believe the words of Master Li Hongzhi." However, I was a person whose mind had been deeply poisoned by the communist culture and I was a Communist Party member. Thus, I was always in a state of reluctance regarding this subject. But my daughter came to talk with me about it on many occasions and she gave me materials such as the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to read. I was gradually changed by the virtues and power of Falun Dafa. I began to see the dark side of the Party and realize that it's evil nature is detrimental to humans. I also realized how the morals of society have degraded. I eventually decided that I wanted to renounce my Communist Party membership from the bottom of my heart. My daughter was very delighted and gave me a Falun emblem for protection. I treasured the Falun emblem very much and took it with me wherever I went.

That very same day, an amazing thing happened. Ever since I became ill, it was difficult for me to drink water. It was very painful, and I could not even ingest any food. Every day was like a living hell. Miraculously, the very same day I renounced my Communist Party membership, I was able to eat some porridge during dinner.

For the next few days when my daughter was taking care of me, I noticed her listening to an MP3 player. I was very curious and asked her what she was listening to. She told me that she was listening to audio lectures of Master Li Hongzhi. I asked her right then if I could also listen. My daughter happily agreed and let me put on the headphones, then restarted the audio lectures from lecture one for me. I listened to Master Li Hongzhi's audio lectures every day and slowly regained my health day by day.

In the same hospital ward there were other patients around my age, and their conditions worsened as the days passed. Some of them were almost dying. There were also young cancer patients and some were even children. I was there, seeing them slowly dying away. However, in that same environment, I miraculously recovered. The doctors said that I needed to go through four stages of treatment, but I only went through one stage and recovered.

The doctors and nurses did another thorough examination and they were surprised to discover that I was perfectly normal and all symptoms of cancer had disappeared. The doctors exclaimed and said that it was a miracle in the medical world.

But I understand deep in my heart that it was Master Li Hongzhi who saved me and gave me a new lease on life. Since returning home, I have recited every day, "Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." From the bottom of my heart, I believe in Master Li's Falun Dafa.
