Following the illegal arrest of practitioners Mr. Wei Xingshe, Mr. Lu Shouhua, Mr. Meng Qingquan and Mr. Zhang Changjin, whose homes were also ransacked, the State Security Division of the Jiawang District 610 Office colluded with the Laokuang Police Station and the Daquan Police Station to arrest practitioner Ms. He Peixiu, who was working as a nurse in the No. 2 Hospital of the Mining Management Bureau of Xuzhou City, and practitioner Ms. Niu Shuxia, who was at home. Their homes were also ransacked. Another practitioner, Ms. ZhaoLijun, who was visiting Ms. Niu Shuxia's home, was also arrested. The whereabouts of these three practitioners are not clear.

Practitioner Ms. Yuan Ling was arrested again. Police officers also surrounded the home of practitioner Mr. Gan Xinjun.

At noon on January 30, 2007, under orders from the Qingdao City/Laixi City Police Department and Culture Bureau, more than 20 police cars were mobilized and driven to Rizhuang East Village, Rizhuang Town of Laixi City. Police arrested practitioner Ms. Li Qin and her husband, Mr. Zou Hua (who is not a practitioner), for participating in installing satellite dishes. Police also searched their home and confiscated the equipment and instruments for the installation of the satellite dishes, Falun Dafa materials, and other items. The confiscated goods filled up two cars. Police even searched the home of Mr. Zou Hua's younger brother, who is not a practitioner.

On the morning of December 22, 2006, the Maiji District Court of Tianshui City held an illegal trial of practitioners Ms. Dong Peilan, Ms. Wu Lijun, and Ms. Zhang Ping. These three practitioners "clarified the truth" during the trial, and finally the court declared them not guilty. However, the State Security Division and the Police Department of Tianshui City again took these three practitioners to the Tianshui City Detention Center, where they are being held illegally, and refuse to release them.

Practitioner Mr. Xiao from the Maiji District of Tianshui City was arrested by police officer Feng Jitang (male) from the Maiji District Police Department of Tianshui City, when Mr. Xiao was repairing his bike on the street in early October 2006. When Mr. Xiao's family members requested the release of Mr. Xiao, Feng Jitang (male) tried to extort 1,500 yuan from them. However, Mr. Xiao's family members refused to cooperate with their demand. Feng Jitang then claimed that he would put Mr. Xiao into a forced labor camp.

On January 23, 2007, six practitioners from Shuangcheng City in Heilongjiang Province were arrested and then taken to the Yaziquan Detention Center without legal procedures or any paperwork for detention. Police officers from the Xinnong Police Station brutally tortured these Falun Dafa practitioners. Practitioner Ms. Zhang Fengrong was forced to sit on the iron chair and handcuffed. Practitioner Ms. Jiang Yahong has been brutally beaten on the back of her head for 12 days. Due to the brutal torture, Ms. Jiang Yahong is vomiting and is no longer able to take in any food. She sometimes vomits blood. The detention center is attempting to brutally force-feed her.

On the morning of January 28, 2007, police officer Feng Jitang (male) from the Maiji District Police Department of Tianshui City led a group of police officers to break into the home of practitioner Ms. Ju Fengci. They confiscated a laptop computer, a printer, a CD burner, and a portable hard disc, as well as some Falun Dafa books and materials. Ms. Ju Fengci's daughter, Ms. Ju Rongxuan, was also forced to leave home to avoid arrest.

Practitioner Ms. Wang Gaizhen and her eight-year-old son were unconditionally released on November 7, 2006. Practitioners Ms. Wang Zhifang, Ms. Wang Lizhen, Ms. Mei Mei, and Mr. Sun Jianguo were also released.

On the night of January 9, 2007, the Pingquan County State Security Division ordered police officers from the police station to arrest Falun Dafa practitioners and also ransack their homes. The practitioners being illegally held include: Ms. Liu Wenxiu, Mr. Liu Wenshu, Ms. Li Ruiyun, Ms. Wang Guizhen, Ms. Wang Guifeng, Mr. Zhang Yajun, Ms. Li Ruixia, and Mr. Li Fengshan.

On February 2, 2007, I was illegally held in the No. 2 Women's Division of the Shunyi Detention Center of Beijing. According to prisoners held here for a long time, in the summer of 2001, a practitioner whose name was not announced was taken to the Shunyi Detention Center. When he arrived, his body was covered with wounds. After he was put in a cell, a criminal with the surname of Feng brutally beat this practitioner until he became unconscious. The guards pretended that they did not notice. Feng grabbed the hair of the practitioner and smashed his head against the walls and the ground, until the practitioner lost his sense of direction and finally lost consciousness. Later, this practitioner was carried out of the cell and never returned. The criminal who committed the beatings did not receive the punishment he deserved.

Practitioner Ms. Li Guohua lived in No. 10 of the Yongfeng Group, Weixing Village, Xiaji Township in Baoying County. She was arrested by the County Police Department at 3:00 a.m. on January 26, 2007. Her mother, who is blind, is left at home with no one to take care of her.

Practitioners Ms.Tang Zhongxiu and Mr. ZhangYuwen from the 410 Factory of Xichang City are currently being held in the Tuohuang Detention Center of Xichang City.

On the evening of January 25, 2007, practitioner Mr. Hu Guangchuan from Dayao Town in the Mouping District of Yantai City, practitioner Ms. Liu Dailian from the Xiaoningjiatong District, and practitioner Ms. Wang Shuping from the Xinglinbu District went to Dongjiazhuang Village of Dayao Town to post truth-clarification materials. They were reported by Du Shujian (male) and arrested by police officers from the Mouping District State Security Division. They are currently being held in the Mouping District Detention Center where they are being subjected to torture. Police ransacked the three practitioners' homes on the evening of January 25, 2007.

Around January 24, 2007, three practitioners from Tongliang County (their names are not known) were reported to the police when they were clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa at the Farmer's Market of Chongqing City/Yongchuan City. They were arrested by police from Yongchuan City. These three practitioners are currently being held in the Yongchuan City Detention Center. They refused to reveal their true names at the detention center.

On the morning of February 2, 2007, several police officers from the Danzai Township Police Station, Qiu County in Hebei Province, led by several police officers from the Tuan Town Police Station from Quzhou County in Henan Province broke into the shop of practitioner Mr. Zhao Xinji from Tuan Town in Henan Province. They confiscated tape recorders, DVD, discs and other items. They also arrested him. He is possibly still in the Danzai Township Police Station.

At 1:50 p.m. on January 26, 2007, three practitioners from Shaoguo Town Police Station, Nong'an County in Changchun City, broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Gao Xiuqin and arrested her. She was washing clothes. She was taken to the Shaoguodian Police Station.

Police extorted 4,000 yuan from her family members before she was released. Now the police harass her every day by going to her home every hour. They also forbid Ms. Gao Xiuqin from leaving home.

At about 6:00 a.m. on February 2, 2007, practitioner Mr. Liu Yukun from Hanji Township, Chiping County in Shandong Province was arrested at his home by a group of people including the chief of the Hanji Township Police Station, Qin Xtao (male). He was taken to and held in the Chiping County Detention Center where he is being subjected to torture.

Through the efforts of many fellow practitioners as well as her family members, practitioner Ms. Lin Yanmei obtained the certificate of release from the city and from the town 610 Office. On February 2, 2007, when Ms. Lin Yanmei's family members went to the Sanshui Women's Forced Labor Camp to ask for the release of Ms. Lin, the Education Department of the Sanshui Women's Labor Camp refused to release her.

Practitioner Ms. Pan Fenghua from Neijiang City is currently being held in the Neijiang City Detention Center while her husband, practitioner Mr. Yi Shuquan, is being held in the Dongxing District Detention Center.

On January 19, 2007, practitioner Mr. Wang Xinbi from Dalian City took his grandson to the area near the Baiyun New Village to clarify the truth. They were reported to the police and were arrested by the Baiyun Street Police Station. His daughter, practitioner Ms. Yi Lu, and son-in-law, practitioner Mr. Sun Juinghua, went to the police station to ask for the release of Mr. Wang and his grandson. Their home was ransacked and they were interrogated. Ms. Yi Lu and Mr. Sun Jinghua were released on the evening of January 18 and the afternoon of January 20, respectively. Mr. Wang Xinbi was held for 15 days and is currently is being held in the Jinsanjiao District Detention Center in Dalian City.

On February 2, 2007, the Baiyun Street Police Station used the excuse of requesting Mr. Sun Jinghuan to go the police station to pick up confiscated items to arrest him when he arrived there. Mr. Sun Jinghuan was taken away by three people who claimed to be from the Dalian City Police Department but were possibly from the State Security Division.

Practitioner Mr. Zhao Benyong from the Longquanyi District of Chengdu City was tortured in Wumaping Prison for five years and has been steadfastly practicing Falun Dafa. January 31, 2007, was the date when Mr. Zhao Benyong's illegal detention was to end. However, on the morning of February 1, 2007, six or seven people from the Longquanyi District 610 Office, the Political and Judicial Committee, the CCP Street Residential Office, and the Beigandao District Police Station were locked in a stalemate for two hours with Mr. Zhao's relatives, They had come to take Mr. Zhao Benyong home and were in the Wumaping Prison office. Afterwards the police took Mr. Zhao away. His wife, who followed Mr. Zhao, was forced to part with him in the Longquanyi District. Mr. Zhao was taken away in a car by persons unknown. His current whereabouts are unknown.

On the evening of January 18, 2007, practitioner Ms. Duan Guofang from the Huanggang District was arrested when posting truth-clarification materials. She is currently being held in the Huanggang City No. 1 Detention Center. At present Ms. Duan Guofang's husband is working out of town and consequently their ten-year-old child is left alone at home.

Practitioner Ms. Li Dongxu from Shenyang City is in her 30s. In the latter half of December 2006, when Ms. Li Dongxu was distributing truth-clarification materials in the Tieyun District Buildings of Benxi City, she was reported to police and later taken away by Chief Meng, male, of the Zhanqian Police Station (Yongfeng Police Station) and then transferred to two police officers. Because she refused to tell them her name, she was held in the Caibei Detention Center, which is located in the Dabailou District. Later she was sentenced to forced labor and was sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. She is currently in the Third Division.

Practitioners arrested on December 23, 2006, by the Xinnong Town Police Station in the Daoli District of Harbin City are currently being held in the Yaziquan Detention Center of Harbin City. They have been held there for eleven days, and the police still refuse to release them. Among the arrested practitioners, Ms. Tian Hua experienced a sudden heart attack due to torture and her life is in great danger. When her family members went to visit her, police tried to extort 80 yuan from them as a prerequisite for seeing her. Since her family members are from a village and they have a hard time just making a living, they did not pay the fee. The police then rejected their visits. Practitioner Ms. Jiang Yahong was brutally beaten and interrogated by police from the Xinnong Town Police Station. Due to torture, she was mentally traumatized, and she now stares at things with a dull look in her eyes and walks around with a rigid posture.

Practitioner Ms. Ye Changqing from Shenyang City was arrested by the Santaizi Police Station of Huanggu District in Shenyang City and by the Huanggu District Police Department. She is currently being held in the Huanggu District Detention Center

Practitioner Ms. Qi Jing was arrested on the afternoon of January 30, 2007. Ms. Qi Jing's relatives, practitioners Mr. Qi Wei and Ms. Zhang Xiuge (Mr. Qi's wife), were arrested at their home by the Qingming Street Police Station in the Nanguan District of Changchun City on the morning of January 31, 2007. They are currently being held like criminals.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Kangying from the Qingong County Power Plant Company of Qingong County in Quandong City/Nanzhou City was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment in August 2006.

Practitioner Ms. Tian Xiuzhi, a family member of an employee of the Post Office of Qingong County in Nanzhou City/Qiandong City, was sentenced to eight years of imprisonment.

Practitioner Mr. Chen Zaixian from Tianzhu County of Qiandong City/Nanzhou City was sentenced to two years of forced labor and taken to the Zhongba Forced Labor Camp.

Practitioner Ms. Gan Gongyu from Tianzhu County in Qiandong City/Nanzhou City was arrested at her own home in early December 2006. She has been sentenced to forced labor and is currently being held in the Tianzhu County Detention Center.

On the evening of January 26, 2007, led by the chief of the Taitousi Township Police Station, Tu Mingyou (male), seven police officers including Li Guodong (male) and Ye Haijun (male) from the Economic Development District Police Department, drove two black cars to the home clinics of practitioner Mr. Wang Hongchun from the Luolizhuang Village of Taitousi Township. They arrested Mr. Wang and his wife, as well as two other relatives who were also present (two female practitioners). They were Ms. Zhang Guiying, Ms. Wei Xiuzhen, and Ms. Wei Xiulan. Police also illegally ransacked the home clinics.

Mr. Wang Hongchun and the other three practitioners are currently being held in the Dezhou City Detention Center by the Decheng District Police Department, and are being subjected to torture.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Huirong from the Huilongguan Region of the Changping District in Beijing was arrested on January 30, 2007, when he was clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. She is currently being held in the Longyuan District Police Station of the Huilongguan Region.

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Qiuzhen from the Hui'an District of Yantai City was distributing truth-clarification materials near the Shihuiyao District on the afternoon of January 31, 2007, when she was arrested by the Shihuiyao District Police and taken back to the Shihuiyao District Detention Center. She was subjected to illegal interrogation. She has been taken to the Zhujiazhuang Detention Center and is being mistreated. The police refuse to let her family members visit her.

On the evening of January 30, 2007, practitioner Ms. Wang Meiqing, in her 60s, from Zhaoyuan City was posting truth-clarification materials near the Family Residential Building of the Nonghang District in Zhaoyuan City, and was reported by plainclothes police officers, She was later arrested by police from the Zhaoyuan City 610 Office. On the evening of January 31, 2006, practitioner Ms. Lu Yufeng, in her 50s, went to visit the home of Ms. Wang Meiqing's daughter. As soon as she stepped inside the house, she was arrested by a group of police officers, who also ransacked Ms. Lu Yufeng's home. Reportedly, practitioners Ms. Wang Meiqing and Ms. Lu Yufeng are possibly being held in the Zhaoyuan City Brainwashing Center.

Recently, the Harbin City Women's Prison in Heilongjiang Province employed female criminals Xu Zhen and Tian Yazhi, both sentenced to life imprisonment and both from Shanghai, to provide ideas for ways to mistreat Falun Dafa practitioners. The most commonly used torture method is hanging practitioners upside down. They are hung ten centimeters above the ground, and their mouths are taped with adhesive. They are force fed once every three days. The criminals put buns in water and then mixed them with garlic before they pried open the practitioners' mouths and pushed the food in. They randomly take practitioners from the cells to put them through this torture. Some practitioners were beaten until they were spitting blood. Some practitioners were shocked with electric batons while others were subjected to cigarette smoke until they fainted.
