(Clearwisdom.net) After starting to practice Falun Gong, my life has changed completely for the better. I did the exercises and studied the Fa every day. One day, I saw the book of "Zhuan Falun" shining with light. One day before April 25, 1999 I saw all the words in the book turning into golden stars and forming into a Falun. It had many layers and was a beautiful sight. When I saw one particular star, a thought arose in my mind, "That was me."

I did not understand at the time what it meant. A few days later, on April 25, 1999, more than ten thousand practitioners went to Beijing to appeal. After that, I understood the significance of it. Afterwards, every time some big change took place, I would see different images. Sometimes I could understand what they meant. I could see deities, immortal infants, and the law wheel turning on the precious book; it was the same with my eyes opened or closed.

Once when I was watching the tape of Master teaching the exercises, I saw that Master's body was full of light for all of the five exercises. It was so indescribably magnificent. I felt such excitement and wished that all practitioners could see it!

Another time while practicing the second exercise, the "Falun Standing Stance," I saw four big moons in front of me. They were all transparent, with beautiful scenes inside each. The people inside the moons were strikingly handsome and distinguished looking. It resembled what Teacher had described, "Words cannot describe its beauty and wonder," ("Falun World" in Hong Yin)

Now I would like to share my methods and experiences of helping people to quit Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.

After Teacher published his article "Turning the Wheel Towards the Human World," I knew that Dafa practitioners are shouldering a great responsibility for saving sentient beings by helping them to quit the CCP and its associated organizations. At first I felt a great deal of pressure and the attachment to fear also surfaced, so I did not dare to do it. Through Fa study and reading the Nine Commentaries, and after conversations with fellow practitioners, I felt much better and more confident. I told myself that in order to rectify others, I needed to first make changes in myself. Thus I quit the CCP and all of its affiliated organizations. However, I still hesitated to ask others to quit. What if when I asked people to quit, they asked me if I was getting involved in politics--what would I say?

The attachment to fear frequently emerged. On the other hand I thought that if I did not help people to quit, so many sentient beings' lives would be in danger! Being a Dafa practitioner, if I were not responsible for sentient beings, how could I qualify for the title of "Dafa practitioner?"

Nothing on earth is more important than the three things that Teacher has told us to do. Teacher has given us the best and most wonderful things. Teacher asks us to help people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Isn't Teacher lifting us to the highest level? I asked myself what I was waiting for. Teacher is with us, and the great Fa is with us; what is there to be afraid of?

I became determined to change myself according to the Fa, and finally I took a shaky first step to rescue sentient being. First I would send forth righteous thoughts to clear the field. Then I would send out a thought, "It is for your benefit!" I would start with the Youth League members, no matter who they were. After I talked to 18 people, a girl next door returned home. She was also a practitioner. With another practitioner in town, the three of us shared our experiences together. One said that we could start from door to door. It was spring, and every family was busy with farm work. It was difficult to find time in the daytime. Yet, if we could go talk to them in the evenings, it should be fine. At 6:00 p.m., after sending forth righteous thoughts we started from door to door. One of us would do the talking and the other two would send forth righteous thoughts. After only two nights, three out of five families quit the CCP. The result was good. My neighbor left later on, and the other fellow practitioner had to go do something else. I was left alone, but I would continue.

There are more than 70 families with more than 300 people in our town. There were about a dozen CCP members. I first picked those who I thought would be easier to convince, and deferred to a later time those whom I believed would be difficult to approach. Every evening I would go to perhaps two, three or four families. There were all kinds of people: some didn't believe what I told them; some were afraid; some said that nobody in the family had joined any kind of CCP organizations; some CCP members even scolded me and kicked me out of their homes. Sometimes I felt fearful again after being scolded. These incidents targeted my attachment of fear. Nevertheless, I was not angry, nor would I be affected. I would only use Teacher's words to encourage myself,

"When it is difficult to endure, try to endure it. When it looks impossible and is said to be impossible, give it a try and see if it is possible." ("Lecture Nine" in Zhuan Falun)

I would tell them with a smile that I was doing it for their benefit. When leaving I would turn back and tell them that I would return. Sometimes I also felt like crying: how difficult it was to rescue a person! When thinking about it, I had a sense of awe and realized how difficult it must be for Teacher to save all of us, and how much He had to give up.

When I talked to different families, sometimes I would be more direct, and other times I would start from a different angle depending on the family. With most families I would speak of the corruption of the CCP's leaders at all levels. All the farmers knew how corrupt the CCP leaders were, and how bad the CCP was. Some would tell me at first that they had not joined anything, but later came to me and quit for the whole family. My attachment to fear was gradually relinquished in the process.

There are over a hundred people in both my mother's and mother-in-law's family. They were all very stubborn. I am the only practitioner in both families. In addition, very few of my family members understood me. Some would be strongly opposed to listening to me when I clarified the truth to them, and some would simply avoid me. I was not discouraged. I believed that one day they would understand the truth about Dafa.

My in-law's family lives in another town. I had planned to go, but I was afraid that they would not accept what I wanted to tell them. Some other practitioners encouraged me, and I decided to go. I had planned to go one day last fall, but I thought that I still had something else to do first. I started getting a headache, but suddenly I realized that I needed to go rescue people. I felt fine after leaving home. I kept sending forth righteous thoughts on my way there, and I also recited poems from Hong Yin Volume II.

When I arrived, several families were gathered together, as if Teacher had arranged it. As soon as I entered, I told them, "I'm here to rescue you!" They all laughed good-naturedly. It was a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere. I felt warm, as if Teacher was right there with me. I visited three families. With only a few words they all quit the CCP. My sister-in-law said, "Thank you very much, sister-in-law. We are fortunate to have a practitioner in our family. At this critical moment, you thought about us!" The result was the opposite from what I had expected. I went there again later on to further clarify the truth about Dafa. I also told them to remember, "Falun Dafa is good," "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good."

One day on the way home from another practitioner's home, I met a cowherd, and I started to talk to him. We quickly got to the topic of quitting the CCP. He said that he had been a member for decades and was still enjoying some benefits, so he was unwilling to quit. I told him, "I was just telling you this for your own benefit. It is up to you to believe it or not. In the past few years I have gone through many difficulties, and you know how hard life has been. Yet, why am I still doing this? We practice 'Truthfulness-Compassion- Forbearance'. It is the Great Law of the universe. We do things for others' benefit. We have only one thought: offering salvation to people so that they will have a beautiful future." He was moved after we talked at length. He told me that I was very kind. He let me quit for him and told me his name. After that we shook hands and parted. Another life was rescued. Excited, I thanked Teacher repeatedly in my heart.

Another CCP member was a veteran in the military who had become a Christian after retiring. He worked in another city and was just visiting his family. I ran into him and we started talking. We talked about Christianity first, and then Falun Gong. I told him about the trend of quitting the CCP and its associated organizations. He said that he had been a member of the CCP for over a dozen years and had been a Christian for five or six years. He could not quit. I told him that it was good for him, and people in the future would use "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" to make themselves into better people. He asked me quite a few questions, and after I answered all of them, he also agreed to quit.

One Party member is our next-door neighbor. For a period of time, he had been monitoring me. He wrote things slandering Dafa on the truth-clarifying handouts I gave to people and left them at my door. Sometimes, after getting drunk he would come to my door and yell some vulgar things. I used to feel a little intimidated, so I did not talk to him about quitting the CCP. After I talked to many people in town and gained some confidence, it was his turn.

I went to his home several times. Sometimes he wasn't home, and sometimes he was busy. I thought that maybe it was not the right time yet, so I waited patiently for the right time. After a while, I caught up with him and as soon as I brought up the subject, he responded with some insulting words. I was not afraid or angry, because I knew that his mind had been deeply poisoned. After a while I talked to him again, and even though he still would not accept what I said, he had calmed down a little. Later, I told him that I was doing it for his own benefit. I told him that he was a smart person, and that he should adjust his mindset. After that, when I talked to him again, he agreed to quit on behalf of his entire family.

His son was also a party member. He told me, "I cannot match your compassion. From this point on I will regard you as a sister!" His wife also happily thanked me. I was excited, for their lives were saved. I thanked Teacher in my heart. When I sent forth righteous thoughts at 5:55 that night I was too excited to calm down. I could feel a flow of warmth all over my body.

So far my entire family has quit, and everyone in my mother's family has quit. There are about 300 people in my town, with more than a dozen CCP members and many others belonging to CCP-related organizations. The vast majority of the people I know have quit. Only one of the CCP members did not choose to quit, and all of the others did.

Everybody that I run into has a predestined relationship with me, and I try to convince everyone to quit the CCP or its affiliated organizations. Some had already heard about it from other practitioners, and for others it was the first time they had heard about the subject. I would tell them "Quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations is to protect your own well-being." I told everyone to remember, "Falun Dafa is good, 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance' is good." Some were moved and others felt compassion for the practitioners' plight during the persecution. Some asked if they had not acted very well before, would they still be rescued? Many people thanked me for my kindness. Teacher had sent these people to me. I did the things on the surface while Teacher did the real things.

"Cultivation depends on one's own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one's master." ("Lecture One" in Zhuan Falun)

"If you can actually do it, you will indeed find: 'After passing the shady willow trees, there will be bright flowers and another village ahead!'" ("Lecture Nine" in Zhuan Falun)

Teacher told us to do the three things, and I try my best to do them well. I learned that I needed to have compassion, patience and the power of the whole group to rescue sentient beings. I want to thank Teacher for His mighty mercy. I feel most fortunate to have this magnificent and virtuous Teacher, and that I am a practitioner. I feel fortunate that I am being uplifted with all the practitioners as a group and walking on the path home with Teacher.
