A One-Year-Old Baby Has the Wish to Practice Falun Gong (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) When my one-year-old daughter hears, "Falun Dafa is good!" she is very earnest and serious in greeting Teacher with her hands in the Heshi gesture of respect. My daughter has never been shy around strangers. Even with fellow practitioners she sees for the first time, she holds her short stubby arms in Heshi to express her respect.

Giving Master the Heshi gesture of respect

My daughter seems to be more intelligent than ordinary children. When she was eight months old, she was able to say "Mom." When she was 13 months, she could use many forms of address and recognize some simple written characters. Communicating with her in daily life, she understands almost everything. Her grandparents and relatives all like her very much.

My daughter is now 14 months old. Before, she seldom had a chance to watch me practice the Falun Gong exercises, because when I practiced, she was sleeping. On the computer, however, she could see the video of disciples practicing the exercises. One time I downloaded a high-quality video called "Lotus Blossoms Throughout Heaven." She watched and paid especially close attention to the practitioners' movements. She said something over and over and followed along with the movements. We never taught her, but she was able to do the following movements from the exercises: "put hands in the Heshi gesture," "Maitreya stretching his back," "Arhat carrying a mountain on his back," "up-and-down movement " and so on. Her expression of concentrated attention looks like she is encouraging fellow practitioners and me to do well. Every time my daughter puts on a display of bad temper, I always sternly say: "Do you follow Truth, Compassion, Tolerance?" She stops crying and stirring up trouble immediately and holds her arms to do the exercises to show that she is well-behaved and wants to be a good child.

The thing she likes most is my MP4 player, because it has many pictures downloaded from the Clearwisdom website. There are many pictures of little disciples doing the exercises. She can see Master, the pictures of disciples wishing Master "Happy Birthday," and that Dafa has been spread around the world. The songs she most likes are "Little Disciples," "Falun Dafa Is Good," and "Celebration." Before falling asleep, she always holds the MP4, looks at the pictures, and listens to "Pudu" to fall asleep.

When New Year and Chinese New Year came around, the police visited all the Dafa disciples. Everyone sent forth strong righteous thoughts and did not cooperate with any of their requests. My baby seemed to enrich our combined strength. Every time we sent forth righteous thoughts, she always said in a clear and sharp tone: "Eliminate! Eliminate!"

My daughter is just a kind and lovable child. Even before she came to this world, she had already experienced the evil Communist Party's foul wind and rain of blood.

When I was seven months pregnant, we lived in a rented house. We installed a computer and a printer. We started our local Dafa materials production site and confidently clarified the truth locally. However, two fellow practitioners were illegally arrested soon after they started to distributed the materials. I was compelled to leave the rented house to avoid arrest.

Soon afterwards, the municipal police station informed the county and municipal birth-control committee and the residential committee about me. The people in these departments came to my rented house. Their aim was clear: to force me to have an abortion. But every time, just before they arrived, kind-hearted people warned me in advance, which made their attempts fail. Since the authorities could not find me, they harassed my mother's family. After they attempted to force me to have an abortion, I knew they were capable of even worse persecution. The constant harassment frightened my mother. She frequently stayed awake all night. In those years, because I had been sent to a forced labor camp, my parents were also implicated and suffered from the persecution. They became very weak in spirit. They knew the Chinese Communist Party was capable of doing anything.

My parents protected me. By keeping righteous thoughts and with Master's merciful protection, I safely gave birth to my daughter.

A policeman once said to another practitioner that if I had not delivered a baby, they would have sent me to the forced labor camp again. I began to study the Fa, do the exercises, and send forth righteous thoughts six days after I delivered the baby. My body recovered extraordinarily quickly and my child was also very healthy. After one month, I braved the strong cold wind to work and do the three things we should do well.

Looking at my daughter sleeping soundly at my side, as a mother, I do not know what predestined relationship my daughter and I have. Although I have walked the Fa-rectification path and there are many attachments I have not given up, there is one point I understand very clearly: my daughter must see that I have a firm heart and will not give up "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance" in the face of any evil.

For our common wish, in order to not disappoint Master's merciful salvation, I will diligently do the three things unceasingly.
