Four Practitioners from Jilin, Liaoning, and Henan Provinces Die after Suffering Continued Persecution

Mr. Dai was 57 years old. He lived in the Erdaojiang District of Tonghua City and worked at Tonggang Tap Water Company. He was very healthy after beginning Falun Dafa practice in 1994. In early June 1999, he went to Beijing to appeal to higher authorities for justice for Falun Dafa. Some malicious Chinese Communism Party members "illegally detained" him twice, each time for 15 days. He was then illegally sentenced to the Tonghua Forced Labor Camp for one year. By the time his family got him out on parole, his blood pressure was very high due to the mistreatment. In 2002, police from the Erdaojiang Police Substation arrested him at his home and sentenced him to two years imprisonment at Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City. There he became very weak from the brutal torture, and by the time his family got him out again on parole he was covered with cuts and bruises. Afterwards, he was hospitalized several times and died on December 30, 2006.

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yin Jiuxi was from Kaiyuan City, Liaoning Province. He died in November 2006. His family members have also suffered persecution. Mr. Yin Jiuxi was 73 years old. He started practicing Falun Dafa together with his family in late 1998. Right before the 2002 Chinese New Year, his wife was arrested because she practiced Falun Dafa. Mr. Yin had to leave his home and wander about to avoid further persecution. After he returned home, he was harassed at his home and threatened several times by the police in his area. In 2003, his older daughter was arrested since she also practiced Falun Dafa. The police illegally searched her home and sentenced her to nine years of imprisonment. She is still in prison. In 2005, after searching his third daughter's home, she was arrested, but managed to run away. She's still wandering from place to place to avoid further persecution. All the sufferings of his family affected Mr. Yin's health. He died on November 16, 2006. Even on the day of his funeral, police cars from his area followed his family to harass them.

Ms. Zhang Na was 48 years old. She started practicing Falun Dafa in 1997. Even after July 20, 1999, when the illegal persecution started, she still clarified the truth of Falun Dafa to people. She hung up banners that said, ''Wonderful Falun Dafa'' on the street during the New Year holiday in 2004. Two policemen from the Police Squad of the Provincial Government arrested her and took her to the Huayuan Road Police Substation. Later she was sent to the Detention Center at the Jinshui Police Department. After she was released, the local 610 Office, together with the Chinese Communist Party members from her company, continued to persecute her financially and at her job. Due to the continued harassment, she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and died on December 17, 2006.

Ms. Liu Shuyun was 61 years old. She lived in the Erdaojiang District of Tonghua City. Soon after she started practicing Falun Dafa in 1999, the police and the committee head of her community illegally searched her home and confiscated her Falun Dafa books. Her son is also a Falun Dafa practitioner. The police and people from the community often came and harassed them at home. Vicious people from his workplace frequently came to harass him and would not allow him to go to work. The police confiscated their car and sentenced her son to forced labor camps twice, once for 18 months, the next time for three years. The family was constantly monitored and their phone was tapped. Malicious people stole 2,000 yuan from them, of which they only successfully got two hundred back. Ms. Liu's health was adversely affected by the persecution, and she died in 2006.
