Mr. Mei Chunfu from Qi County, Henan Province Arrested Again

(Clearwisdom.net) Less than two months after Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Mei Chunfu from Qi County, Henan Province was released from the Xuchang City Forced Labor Camp, he was arrested again on the afternoon of February 7, 2007, by police officer Liu Hongtao and others from the Political and Security Division of the Qi County Police Department.

Policeman Liu Hongtao and others instructed the policemen from the Shawo Town Police Station, Qi County to deceive Mei Chunfu and his family members into going to the town office under the pretext of a "follow-up visit from the guards of the Xuchang Forced Labor Camp." After exchanging a few words with Mr. Mei Chunfu, policeman Liu Hongtao arrested him and took him to the Qi County Detention Center using the excuse that he was not "transformed" and needed to be imprisoned again.

Mr. Mei Chunfu is 65 years old. He is a villager in Shawo Village, Shawo Town, Qi County. Not long after he obtained the Fa in 1996, his many illnesses dissipated without medical treatment, and his whole family benefited from Falun Dafa. Since the beginning of the persecution of Falun Dafa on July 20, 1999, Mr. Mei has gone to the provincial government and Beijing many times to validate Falun Dafa and call for justice. After he was illegally detained and persecuted for over six months, Mei Chunfu was unlawfully sentenced to three years.

Shortly after being released from the Kaifeng City Forced Labor Camp, Mr. Mei Chunfu was reported when he clarified the truth about Falun Dafa on the way to Kaifeng City. Police from Kaifeng County again sought approval to sentence him for three years in prison. Seeing that the determined Mr. Mei Chunfu had been sent back again, the Kaifeng Forced Labor Camp refused to accept him for various reasons. Only after the police invited the forced labor camp officials for dinner and bribed them with gifts did the forced labor camp reluctantly admit Mr. Mei Chunfu to the labor camp. Mr. Mei suffered and witnessed all the brutal torture in the forced labor camp. In the summer of 2006, the Kaifeng City Forced Labor Camp tortured Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhagen. Due to pressure from international investigation organizations, the Falun Dafa practitioners in the Kaifeng Forced Labor Camp were transferred to the Xuchang City Forced Labor Camp for further persecution in the fall of 2006. Mr. Mei Chunfu again witnessed and was subjected to inhuman torture in the Xuchang City Forced Labor Camp.

In the past seven years since the persecution started on July 20, 1999, Mr. Mei Chunfu has spent most of his time in the detention centers and forced labor camps. He has both witnessed and suffered persecution committed by Jiang's evil regime. The main reason for the malicious people to arrest Mr. Mei Chunfu again was to prevent him from exposing their crimes.
