1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Yang Guang Suffers in the Jilin Province Prison; His Life Is in Peril

Practitioner Mr. Yang Guang from Changchun City has been suffering all kinds of inhuman excruciating torture at the Jilin Province Prison for over six years. He is now unable to take care of himself due to the severe torture and his life is in peril now. Personnel of the prison refuse to release him and what's more, they sent Yang Guang to Jilin Province's Hospital for further torture.

Practitioner Ms. Liu is in her 40's and lives near Pingyang Street, Nanguan District, Changchun City. Police from the Yongji Police Station arrested her at home. The practitioner was born disabled in the left arm.

3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Sun Shuxiang Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Sun Shuxiang was arrested while she was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong on January 17, 2007. She is now being held at the No. 3 Shuangyang Detention Center in Changchun City.

4. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Li Shurong and Other Practitioners' Homes Ransacked

Liu Chuanjun, Jieli Police Station chief, Lishu District, Jixi City, led three policemen and they broke into practitioner Ms. Li Shurong's (67 years old, lives in the Kaoshanwei Area, Lishu District) home and confiscated some Falun Dafa books, including Zhuan Falun and some transcribed writings, at around 2:00 p.m. on December 14, 2006.

The same gang broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Wang Fengzhi (57 years old, lives in the No. 4 Section, Minzuwei Area, Lishu District.) They confiscated some Falun Dafa books and a copy of The Real Story of Jiang Zemin, and turned the place upside down. Afterwards, they went to practitioner Ms. Chang Yulian's home. Chang Yulian refused to open the door for them and thus avoided having her home ransacked.

6. [Jingyu County, Jilin Province] Detailed Information About the Arrest of Several Practitioners Including Leng Jingtao

Led by Sun Jiahua, Jingyu County Police Department chief Lu Yingjie and about six policemen, the group broke into practitioner Mr. Leng Fuyun's home at 9:00 a.m. on January 16, 2007. They confiscated a computer, a printer, a paper cutter and some truth-clarifying materials. They arrested practitioner Mr. Leng Jingtao, Mr. Leng Fuyun and Ms. Jiang Zhongmei's entire family.

Practitioners Mr. Leng Jingtao and Mr. Leng Fuyun are being held at the Jingyu County Detention Center, while Ms. Jiang Zhongmei being held in Jiangyuan County.

7. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Incidents of Persecution Relating to Several Practitioners, Including Xu Hongmei

Personnel from the Qingyun Street Police Station affiliated with the Longsha Police Department, Qiqihar City, secretly arrested four practitioners from Qiqihar City including Ms. Xu Hongmei, Mr. Shen Zili, Ms. Hou Yaqian and one other on January 13, 2007. The practitioners are being held at the city's No.1 Detention Center.

Officers from the Zhengyang Police Precinct at the Longsha Police Department arrested a practitioner on January 15, 2007. The practitioner works at the Thousand-Layer Steamed Bread Bakery at the Anju Power Plant Community of Qiqihar City. The practitioner's 82-year-old father and 70-year-old mother-in-law were left at home. Her husband is working out of town, and thus neither of them could take care of their child. The practitioner is being held at the city's No.1 Detention Center.

8. [Chaoyang County, Liaoning Province] Nanshuangmiao Township Authorities Persecute Practitioners

Nanshuangmiao Township Police Station chief Guo Chengyu and some officers harassed local practitioners and ransacked their homes looking for Falun Dafa materials many times between May and December of 2006. He even forced practitioners to write the so-called guarantee statement.

9. [Jilin Province] Family Concerned that Sun Shuquin's Health is Declining

Someone reported practitioner Ms. Sun Shuqing from Jiangnan District, Jilin City on January 4, 2007 when she was distributing truth-clarifying materials in the Changmao Garden Community of Chuanying District, Jilin City. Yao Zhenggang and other officers from the Beishan Police Station arrested Ms. Sun the same day and sent her into the Jilin City Detention Center.

Ms. Sun's family member went to the Beishan Police Station to visit her on January 17. Officer Yao Zhenggang who was in charge of Ms. Sun's case told them that Ms. Sun might be taken out for medical care. He ordered the family to pay for it.

Three practitioners, including Mr. Wang Jiming and Ms. Wang Shufang from Changdian area didn't return home after they had gone out to clarify the truth on the afternoon of January 20, 2007. Their whereabouts are unknown.

Practitioner Ms. Chen Mei from Dalian City has been sent to the Xinghai Brainwashing Class.

Shuishiying 610 Office personnel from Lushun City had persecuted practitioner Ms. Zhang Wenhong from Sanbali, Lushun, Dalian City for three years, ever since she had gone to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in 2001.

Practitioner Mr. Jiang Xiaoming, practitioner Ms. Jiang Hongmei's brother, was sentenced to a year of forced labor after he had gone to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in 1999. He was subsequently laid off from his job.

12. [Tieling City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners, Including Li Zongbin, Arrested

Numerous practitioners from the Tieling area were harassed in late November 2006. A few were arrested. It was learned recently that personnel from the Qinghe District Hongqi Police Station arrested three practitioners from the district. They are
Mr. Li Zongbin, 62 years old, twice persecuted in the Tieling City Forced Labor Camp;
Ms. Li Chunlan, Mr. Li Zongbin's daughter, around 30 years old, was twice sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp; Ms. Zhang Shuxia, in her 40s, was once sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp and sentenced to five years of imprisonment.

One of them has escaped, but the other two might have been sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.

13. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Wu Shuyan Held at the Shenyang City Detention Center

Practitioner Ms. Wu Shuyang was sent to the Masanjia Women's Prison on January 9, 2007. The camp refused to admit her because of her having scabies. Consequently she was sent back into the Shenyang City Detention Center. The center personnel forbade her family's visit on January 11, 2007.

14. [Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Supplemental Information regarding the Arrest of Practitioner Zhang Shuqin - Belated News

Someone reported practitioner Ms. Zhang Shuqin from Acheng City on December 5, 2005 when she was clarifying the truth to people in a meat shop at Kang'an Road, Daili District, Harbin City. Daoli District police personnel arrested her and forcibly held her at the Harbin City No. 2 Detention Center for seven months. Zhang Shuqin refused to tell them her name and did not yield, though police brutally tortured her. She was steadfast in her belief in Falun Dafa. Policemen sent her to the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp in Harbin City in July 2006.

15. [Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Yang Chengshan Is Still Being Detained

Practitioner Mr. Yang Chengshan from Acheng City lives in the Jidianqi Residential Area. He is an employee of the Irrigation Works No. 2 Section. "610 Office" policemen from Harbin City and Acheng City arrested him on August 18, 2006. They searched his house and confiscated his computer. Yang Chengshan has been detained at the Acheng City No. 1 Detention Center since then.

16. [Baoquan City, Heilongjiang Province] Arrest of Practitioner Fan Qiang

Personnel from the Baoquan Police Station arrested practitioner Mr. Fan Qiang on January 5, 2007. Fan Qiang, 42 years old, is Project Plan Section chief of the Baoquan Police Station. He began to practice Falun Gong in 1995. He had been circulating the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party using his workplace computer, which led to his arrest.

17. [Shangzhi City, Heilongjiang Province] Arrest of Practitioner Chu Jingyuan

Practitioner Mr. Chu Jingyuan from Shangzhi City is a music teacher. Mr. Chu clarified the truth to one of his students at his home on January 17, 2007, but the student's parent reported him to police. Four officers from the Yabuli Town Police Department arrested him. Currently he is being held at the No.1 Detention Center of Shangzhi City Police Department.

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Lina works for the Sheling Agency in the Shuangyang District, Changchun City. A gang from the Sheling Street Police Station broke into her home at 3:00 p.m. on January 19, 2007 when she was cooking. Currently she is being held at the Shuangyang District Police Department. Zhang Linan had previously been put into forced labor camps.

Personnel from the Jing County National Security Division and Police Station in Tianjin harassed several practitioners and searched their homes on January 17, 2007.
