Cultivating While Following Master's Fa-Rectification Solidly

(Clearwisdom.net) In 1996, it was a blessing to receive the book Zhuan Falun. After I finished reading it, I decided to cultivate Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance, and follow Teacher in Fa-rectification all the way to the end. I started practicing Falun Gong.

On July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party began persecuting Falun Gong publicly. I was detained for seven days when I appealed for justice for Falun Gong in Beijing.

In 2001, the 610 Office took me to a brainwashing session. I was released the second day after I began a hunger strike.

Harassment from the Neighborhood Administration and police came constantly after that. I told them the facts about Falun Gong. I told them that Falun Dafa is good.

In October 2002, I was taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp to serve a two-year sentence. I did not follow the evil's demands, resisted being "transformed" by the brainwashing and refused to recite the prison rules. I was tortured. It was Master's compassion that protected me through that two years of brutality.

I was questioned by a guard for not reciting the prison rules. I said that following Truthfulness- Compassion-Tolerance to be a good person was right, and that I was a law-abiding citizen. I wouldn't recite the prison rules. The guard then beat me. I sent forth righteous thoughts �" "Let the pain return to the tormentor." He felt the pain right away. The guards locked me up in a small cell alone. I had only a steamed corn bun and pickles as food. They tried to wear me down and force me to "transform," but they failed.

A female guard ordered an inmate to restrain my arms, and then she shocked my arms with an electric baton. I was not afraid. I am a Falun Dafa practitioner. "The electricity won't shock me." I asked for Teacher to strengthen me and to return the electricity to the tormentor. The guard asked the inmate whether he was shocked. He said no. The guard said that she was shocked. They were frightened away, as it appeared that I was not harmed, thanks to Teacher's merciful protection.

Once the guards did not allow me sleep, and they ordered me to squat on a piece of brick. I did not follow their orders and sat on the ground. One guard grabbed my hair and dragged me in a circle around the floor. The other four or five struck me in the head along the way. I felt my scalp peeling off. I asked Teacher to give me strength. I felt a touch of a power on my head, after which I no longer felt any pain.

Blessed with Master's compassion again and again, I survived.

I burst into tears every time I recall these experiences. Benevolent Teacher took on the enormous suffering for me. I won't be able to forgive myself if I do not fulfill Teacher's requests to do the three things - clarify the facts, send righteous thoughts, and study the Fa well.
