Ms. Wang Yufang Tortured to Death at Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Changchun, Jilin Province

Ms. Wang Yufang, 53 years old, was from Huashu Village in the Er'daojiang District of Tonghua City, Jilin Province. She was arrested on August 9, 2005, and her home was ransacked. She was taken to Changliu Detention Center in Tonghua City and sentenced to three years of forced labor. She suffered cruel torture and brutal torment at Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Changchun and was harmed physically and mentally.

Ms. Wang was taken to every large hospital for medical examinations. When they realize that her condition was dire, staff from the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp finally notified her family. They were allowed to take her home on December 18, 2006.

Ms. Wang could not eat or walk and was bedridden. She was close to death when she returned home. Her family took her to the Central Hospital. She was diagnosed with bile duct cancer and passed away on January 25, 2007.
