Taiwan: The Seventh Southern Taiwan Youth Practitioners Camp (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net)  On February 4 to 6, 2007, the Seventh Taiwan Youth Falun Dafa Practitioners Camp was held in National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology. 70 college and high school students from all over Taiwan attended the camp.

Kaohsiung is the second biggest city in Taiwan, and National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology (NKFUST) is a famous university. Falun Gong Club at NKFUST was set up in 2004. Practitioners do the group exercises in a classroom every Friday.

During three days of studying the Fa and sharing the cultivation experiences, young practitioners discussed the problems that they have encountered in cultivation. The discussion topics include: "Why do I practice Falun Gong?" "What is cultivation?" "How to balance the relationship between cultivation and school work;" "How to handle the relationship between man and woman;" "How to clarify the truth," and so on.

Several practitioners shared their experiences of passing the test of lustful desire. Practitioners realized that once they exposed and got rid of the bad attachment, improvement followed. Everybody benefited from the sincere sharing.

On the second day, a small scale Fa conference was held. Eight college students from Tainan University, Jiaotung University, National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology, National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences, Tunghai University and Taiwan University shared their cultivation experiences. During the Fa conference, practitioners showed two videos of practitioners' stories.

Practitioners expressed that they all benefited from the sincere sharing. On the last day, a new practitioner who obtained the Fa two months ago told his story. He didn't get a good score on the college entrance exam, and his girlfriend broke up with him for no reason. He was very depressed and even thought about committing suicide. After he obtained the Fa, he learned the true purpose of life, so he cultivates very diligently. He started clarifying the truth to people in Mainland China over the telephone a month ago. His story touched everybody. Some practitioners expressed that the camp taught them a lot and they saw their own shortcomings and learned how improve oneself during the camp.

At the end, practitioners encouraged each other to strive forward diligently and do the three things well.
