Turkey: Event at Mersin University Raises Awareness of the Persecution (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On February 28, some Turkish practitioners visited Mersin University to raise awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong in China. In just a few hours, the practitioners distributed near 4000 copies of leaflets. Students and faculty members who learned about the persecution were shocked by the atrocities of the Chinese Communist regime.

Several practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises at a site near the major track field of the campus while a few practitioners distributed truth-clarifying materials and told passing by students and faculty members in person about the ongoing brutal persecution in China. Meanwhile, the practitioners also arranged a series of movie presentations at the video hall of the university's art center, playing the "Falun Dafa Spreads Around the World" movie once an hour.

The activities received very good response. After learning about the truth, students in succession came to sign a petition to condemn the Chinese Communist regime's atrocities. In addition, quite a few asked how they could help to stop the persecution.

Local and university media outlets came to the sites to interview the practitioners.
