On February 5, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Yan Jiying, a family member of an employee of Nanning Chemical Factory, was arrested. She is currently illegally detained in the Maoqiao Detention Center.

In Xuzhou City, more than twenty Falun Dafa practitioners were arrested. They are detained in the Beishan Detention Center, the Tongshan No. 2 Detention Center and the Jiawang Detention Center.

On the night of February 13, 2007, Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Huiqun (around 70 years old) from Changpo Community, Tianxin District, Changsha City was arrested when she was putting up truth-clarifying posters.

At 4:00 a.m. on July 15, 2005, the Yukou Police Station, the 610 Office, and the National Security Section of Pinggu District illegally arrested more than ten Falun Dafa practitioners and illegally searched their homes and confiscated their property.

Dafa practitioner Mr. Mao Fusheng from Yukou Town was sentenced to three years of imprisonment because the police found the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, truth-clarification materials, and a printer at his home. Now, he is detained in the Chadian Prison in Tianjin City. His wife Ms. Fan Jinping was arrested at the same time. She was sentenced to a two- year imprisonment in a labor camp. Their two daughters and Mr. Mao's older mother were left alone with no one to care for them. Mr. Mao's mother passed away in the spring 2006 because she lived in constant fear and missed her son very much.

At that same time, other practitioners, including Ms. Li Lanping, Ms. Chen Guilan, Ms. Liang Yarong and Ms. Li Shuhua, were also arrested. They were each sentenced to two and a half years imprisonment in labor camps.

On July 20, 2006, Wang Xiaohua, director of the Pinggu District 610 Office, Zhang Peihua from the Yukou Police Station, and other policemen from the National Security Section, broke into Mr. Chen Youwen, Ms. Liu Guifen and Ms. Zhang Chunhong's homes. They arrested all three Dafa practitioners and confiscated their Dafa books and truth-clarification materials. The three practitioners were all sentenced to two year detention terms in labor camps.

In August 2006, Dafa practitioners Ms. Liu Yulian, Ms. Liu Cuifen and Ms. Wang Fengqin were illegally arrested. Among them, Ms. Liu Yulian and Ms. Liu cuifen were sentenced to two year terms in labor camps. Ms. Wang Fengqin's whereabouts are unknown.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Shulan's home was searched. She was forced to become homeless to avoid being arrested.

On the night of February 14, 2007, Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Lankui from Zhengding County was reported on and illegally arrested when he was distributing truth-clarification materials in East Quancheng Village, Zhengding County. The next afternoon, the Zhengding Police Department and the West Pingle Police Station searched Li Lankui's home and took away his computer. He is now detained in the Zhengding Detention Center.

On February 2, 2007, Dafa practitioner Mr. Sun Jinghuan from Dalian City was arrested by the Dalian National Security Team. In the detention center, he was brutally persecuted by being handcuffed with the hands behind the back and tied to the bed because he went on a hunger strike.

Mr. Zhang Baogui, in his forties, is from Henan Province. In autumn of 1998, he started practicing Falun Gong. He once worked as a secretary of the Politics Department of the Shenyang Army District. Since the persecution began in 1999, he was forced to transfer to a civilian post in the Party School of Shenyang City since the army does not allow soldiers to practice Falun Gong.

At the end of 2000, Mr. Zhang Baogui was arrested and illegally sentenced to a six-year prison term because he wrote a letter to the premier of the State Council of China to clarify the truth. During his detention in Lingyuan Prison, his wife divorced him due to the pressure. On January 17, Mr. Zhang was transferred to the Yingkou Prison. After his prison term ended on January 8, 2007, he was illegally sent to a labor camp.

At around 5:00 p.m on February 21, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Cao Jiwei and Ms. Li Zhenfang from Laishui County were illegally arrested near Songgezhuang Reservoir. At around 5:00 p.m. on February 22, 2007, practitioners Mr. Sun Xuewu and Mr. Lin Xueqing were arrested at their homes in Changanzhuang Village, Loucun Township.

On December 1, 2006, Cao Lancheng, Lai Yonglin, and other policemen from Changting County searched several Falun Dafa practitioners' homes. Four Dafa practitioners were arrested and detained in the Changting Detention Center for more than one month.
