Police Campaign Leads More Police and Others to Admire Falun Gong
(Clearwisdom.net) Under the direction of the Police Administration, a
city in China recently conducted a far-reaching campaign to search for and
harass Falun Gong practitioners. Facing this unusual action, practitioners were not daunted. They treated
everyone who came to their homes with tolerance and kindness, be it from the
police station or neighborhood associations. They felt that it was a good
opportunity to tell these people the facts about Falun Gong. With practitioners
remaining calm, exhibiting neither fear nor resentment, the policemen gradually
loosened up. After listening to the practitioners talking about their own
experiences and the wonders that they had witnessed, the policemen began to show
respect. One practitioner met a policeman who was wandering outside his house. He went
up, said hello, and asked the policeman, "You haven't done bad things
lately, have you?" The policeman said, "No." The practitioner said, "Why don't you come to my home." Being worried about not being able to finish the assignment and getting in
trouble from his superior, the policeman said, "Sure, sure." At the door, the practitioner said with a smile, "As always, you have to
say 'Falun Dafa is good' when you walk in." The policeman recited loudly at the door, "Falun Dafa is good." Quite a few practitioners respectfully hang Mr. Li Hongzhi's picture in their
homes. Policemen were upset and tried to take the pictures off the walls when
they first went to practitioners' homes. The practitioners solemnly told them,
"This is my Teacher. No one can touch it." In the face of
practitioners' calm but determined attitude, policemen listened quietly to
practitioners telling them the facts about Falun Gong. Now when the policemen
leave, they politely Heshi (press their hands together in front of their chest,
a sign of respect) to Teacher's picture. Quite a few policemen told practitioners that they were forced to go to their
homes, "The action this time is to have a show for the superiors."
Some policemen told the practitioners in front of other policemen, "I will
become a Falun Gong practitioner once I quit my police job." Many policemen told practitioners that lately Falun Gong materials have
exposed many covered up stories that were not known to the local people. The
materials vividly described some rational discussions and righteous actions
regarding Falun Gong. It described in detail the wonders that had occurred
locally in the past seven years, and the mishaps which befell the crooked cops
and local officials. It reported that the high officials directing the
persecution of Falun Gong were wanted overseas. People learned that evil people
were punished and that police morale was extremely low. Pictures of the worried
faces of evildoers are exposed worldwide, so some people in the Police
Administration felt that they had lost face and thus became very upset. They
were frightened and tried to use this campaign to improve police morale, in
order for the persecution of Falun Gong to continue. In spite of the apparent excitement that this campaign generated, everyone
knew that this was their last struggle. Privately policemen all knew that they
would not have good results. They also complained about their superiors'
following Jiang Zemin's gang to persecute Falun Gong. Many policemen marveled at
the capabilities and were inspired by the nobility of practitioners. Some
expressed their strong desire to associate and become friends with
practitioners. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Falun Gong has become a hot topic One day my husband and I went to the bookstore and I overheard the clerks
talking about Falun Gong so I went up and tried to listen to them. A: "You guys can see that here in the bookstore we have everything, but
we just don't have Falun Gong books." B: "Wasn't it determined by the nation that it is a cult?" C: "Why don't you guys be quiet. Haven't you heard that they just
arrested some practitioners the other day?" A: "It has been so many years. How come the more practitioners they
arrest, the more practitioners there are? This means that Falun Gong is indeed
good. Otherwise why would it become more popular as they arrest people? If there
is a Falun Gong book, I would sure like to read it to find out what is in
it." B: "I would read it too if there was one." C: "Don't let the police arrest you." A: "I don't believe it. If they arrest you just because you read a Falun
Gong book, then the whole nation should read it and see if they can arrest
everyone." Hearing their discussion. I felt that all of the world's people are
awakening. One night I heard some older people talking about Falun Gong on the street. I
walked closer to listen to them. One older man said, "I heard that the
police in district A are visiting people at their homes. In reality they are
trying to get into practitioners' houses and see if they can find Falun Gong
books or materials. We should also all go to people's homes and ask them to hide
their Falun Gong books. We don't want them to be confiscated." Others said one after another, "What kind of government is this? They
will not let people live. With no money to see doctors, what is wrong with doing
exercises to improve one's health? Jiang Zemin is nothing. How can you say that
they are a cult just because you think so? The practitioner living in our
neighborhood is such a wonderful person. I think that the Chinese Communist
Party is finished." Now more and more people are learning the facts.
