Greetings Master! Greetings everyone!

I am a practitioner in Singapore who obtained the Fa in December 2004 through a former colleague. He introduced me to the FGMTV website, from which I watched many videos and movies on such issues as the Celestial Eye, past civilizations, and Mayan predictions. This aroused my curiosity about life in general. Later, he showed me "On Buddha Law" in Zhuan Falun. I was a Buddhist then and after reading the "On Buddha Law," I found that Falun Dafa is Buddha Fa. Since then, I started to listen to all the Zhuan Falun Lectures. I become very excited after reading the book. Through further reading of others of Master lectures, I realized that Master is the person who came down to earth to save sentient beings during the end of Dharma period. In the past, I had learned from Buddhism that one who gets to hear the Buddha Law in human form is considered very lucky. Now that I know that I am here in the same lifetime as Master, it would be big waste if I missed this rare opportunity. I therefore made up my mind to cultivate Falun Dafa.

After reading and discovering what I want in my life, I started to learn the five Falun Gong exercises on my own, from the Falun Dafa website. Later, I found a practice site near my workplace. In the past, I had a history of thyroid disease. It had begun 3 years ago, and a major symptom was an accelerated heartbeat. It was under control after taking medication for a year and a half. The medication reduces my body hormone level to control my fast heartbeat, however, the side effect was that I gained weight. However, after practicing the five exercises for about one month, I slimmed down to my normal size. Surprisingly, my heartbeat also became normal. If I did not practice Falun Gong, slimming down back to my normal size would mean a highly possible relapse, with my heart beating fast again. But now, not only is my heart beating normally, I felt myself lighter while walking, even when carrying a heavy bag. Also, when I started practicing the exercises I could sense movement in my body. I could sense a drilling feeling in my forehead where my celestial eye is located. All of these miracles happening enhanced my confidence in my cultivation path.

A few months after I began my practice, the volunteer assistant of my practice site showed me how to send righteous thoughts. Since then, I tried to adhere strictly to the righteous thoughts timing. I try to keep focus and awake every time when I am sending forth righteous thoughts. In a few weeks, I could sense small amounts of energy emitting from my palm and a force pressing down on top of my head which enabled me to remain clearheaded. After several months, the energy emitted became stronger and stronger and it also came out of other parts of my body. This has greatly enhanced my confidence in sending righteous thoughts to eliminate the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) evil specter.

Master said,

"Under any circumstance, in any period, and no matter how busy you are with your work, you can't stray from your Fa-study, as this is what fundamentally ensures that you will improve and reach Consummation." ("Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Fa Conference," Guiding the Voyage)

I realized the importance of studying the Fa. If I do not study Fa every day, I may fail to pass xinxing tests arranged by Master. Because we are mingling with all kinds of people, we might easily forget that we are a practitioner. Every morning, I wake up early, and after sending forth righteous thoughts, I will study the Fa before going to work. After returning home from work, whenever I have time left, I will read more of the Fa.

Master has mentioned in Zhuan Falun, Lecture One:

"Every aspect of xinxing must be upgraded for you to make real progress. This is a crucial factor in improving gong potency (gongli)." (Third Translation Edition, 2000)

Therefore, I emphasize cultivation of xinxing everyday. I came to understand that whenever we are in conflict with other people or if we witness someone else in conflict, we should always look within to see what attachment we might have. Since my cultivation path started, I realized that my day-to-day encounters were all arranged by Master for me to see my long-hidden attachments. Soon after I obtained the Fa, a new colleague joined my company who was highly regarded by our superior. In the past, I would have felt jealous, and even have sleepless nights because of my combative heart. But now, when I behaved as a cultivator, I no longer was concerned about status and I am able to sleep peacefully every night.

I have come to understand that anyone we encounter is a person we should clarify the truth to. Therefore, whenever I leave my house, I bring along truth-clarification materials. I give out truth-clarification materials to those whom I meet. If the situation allows, I try to talk to them as well. As I am the only practitioner in my neighborhood, I believe it is not coincidental for me to be there to save the people around me.

Master has emphasized the importance of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party in saving Chinese people. Due to the CCP's slander of Falun Gong, many people refused to accept our truth-clarification materials. The release of the Nine Commentaries has helped these people to know the true nature of the CCP and they have become more accepting of to our truth-clarification materials. With righteous thoughts, I found the location of Chinese workers' dormitories and went there to distribute the Nine Commentaries.Master has also mentioned the importance of righteous thoughts when saving sentient beings. On one occasion while I was distributing the Epoch Times newspaper, a security guard asked me to stop distributing them because a Chinese person had complained to him about me. I sent forth righteous thoughts and a miracle happened. Another security guard started to argue with him, saying that the papers are legal in Singapore and so it is perfectly fine to distribute them there. As a result, I was able to continue passing out the papers. On another occasion, it was pouring rain when I arrived at the distribution area. Knowing that distribution of truth-clarification materials is such a sacred activity, I had a thought in my mind that nothing could stop me from saving the Chinese people. A miracle happened. The rain soon stopped and I began my distribution of the Epoch Times.

The first time I tried to help Chinese people quit the CCP, it took me a whole evening. That night I talked to a group of Chinese workers. I urged them to quit the CCP and its affiliates for their own safety. I told them that we cultivators are not interested in politics. I was very happy when one of the workers finally agreed to quit the CCP, which greatly boosted my confidence.

At first, I was able to convince five Chinese workers to quit the CCP every evening. Now I can facilitate more then 20 withdrawals every night. To make the quitting process easier for them, I asked them if I could make up pen names for those who wished to withdraw from the CCP. Many of them nodded in agreement. Some of them even wrote down their real names to quit the CCP. Once when I asked a Chinese woman to quit the Party, she immediately gave me her real name, along with the names of her husband and daughter. But I told her it won't count unless her family also agreed on their own initiative to quit. I called her the next day to make sure her husband and daughter indeed agreed to quit the CCP. On another occasion, a Chinese woman I met called me the second day, asking me to help her publish a long letter criticizing the CCP on the Epoch Times website, and at the same time help her and her daughter to quit the CCP.

As long as we do what our Master requires of us -- study the Fa, clarify the truth and send send forth righteous thoughts, Master will give us the very best.
