My Understanding of "Disintegrate Completely All the Meddling Deities in the Three Realms that Have a Hand in Interfering with Fa-Rectification"

(Clearwisdom.net) After the publication of Teacher's new article, "Disintegrate Completely All the Meddling Deities in the Three Realms that Have a Hand in Interfering with Fa-Rectification," our local practitioners shared thoughts and we agreed that this was another step in the Fa-Rectification. Those meddling deities, who were given chances to correct their attitudes toward the Fa Rectification, have now lost their chances and choices. They all should have been righteous Gods, since they were the ones who controlled several major religions. Now they have become "Meddling Deities" and will be eliminated completely.

This is also another test of our practitioner's human notions. It's testing our righteous belief, our understanding of the Fa, and the progress of our cultivation. In fact Teacher has said clearly in Zhuan Falun that all religions, even if they do not harm people, are still evil practices if they interfere with people's faith in orthodox religions. Now these religions are preventing people from learning about Dafa. The meddling deities have been listening to Teacher's lectures but they would not change their thoughts and understanding. In the end they have destroyed themselves.

Teacher said that the purpose of the existence of everything in today's world is for practitioners to save sentient beings and validate the Fa, and everything depends on our hearts. Teacher can disintegrate completely all the meddling deities in a split second, so why does Teacher ask us to do it by sending righteous thoughts? It must be related to our own cultivation. My own understanding is that it is a chance for us to gain our mercy and righteous thoughts when doing it righteously.

It also raises another important issue: during the disintegration of these old ideas, people's minds will become empty, they will feel lost, and they will look for answers. At that moment, how are we going to show them the pure, new culture which the Fa has brought, fill their minds with righteous thoughts, and build a good foundation for them to obtain the Fa in the future? My own understanding is that Teacher has told us, by bringing the Chinese New Year Spectacular shows to the world's people. We are not showing old culture or old religions. Falun Dafa practitioners are using what they have understood from the Fa to create a new culture.

For example, we are also talking about loyalty, filial piety, moral integrity, and righteousness, but there are new connotations, different from those of traditional culture. They not only guide human beings' behaviors, but also feed the truth of cultivation and returning to one's true home. They require that we treat sentient beings, ourselves, and our cultivation group with the heart of a God. We need to put down our selfishness, use the Fa's standard to measure the work of other practitioners, and use our media to spread the new culture to the world. For example, how do we understand and spread the articles like "Cultivation" and "Tempering" from Minghui/Clearwisdom? It is a process for us to walk away from our old traditions and human notions. It is very serious.

Teacher told us that those meddling deities are weeded out because they insist on their fixed ideas. My own understanding is that, as practitioners, if we do not change our old thoughts and give up our old notions, they will interfere with Teacher's Fa-Rectification as well. Any part of us which is not assimilated to the Fa will also be weeded out. Cultivation is extremely serious; this is another understanding of mine from studying Master's new article.
