Mr. Zeng Zhizhong Severely Mistreated at Jinshi Prison in Changde, Hunan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zeng Zhizhong has been severely beaten since he was detained October 2005 at the No. 6 Ward of Jinshi Prison in Changde, Hunan Province. The guards have made things difficult for him. He was insulted and forced to lick sputum off the floor. He was also forced to eat meat, even though he is a vegetarian.

Mr. Zeng worked in the wool fabrication workshop continuously for over 12 hours. Guard Liu Yanbo (male) beat him many times and made trouble for him. He was not allowed to wear a mask even when there was a lot of dust. Wang Lin (male), the leader of the group did not allow him to use the restroom except during breaks. On January 2, 2006, he did not feel well and wanted to take the day off. Wang Lin did not agree and ordered the prisoners to carry him from the bed to the workshop. He was extremely cold for an entire morning, wearing only thin underwear when it was 48^oF outside. On February 15, 2007, his mouth became swollen when Luo Qingwu (the leader of the guards) beat him. The head of the group, Tian Yubao (male) who is very evil, ran over and severely kicked Mr. Zeng, who then fell to the floor.

Mr. Zeng had been on a hunger strike since August 2, 2006, and one day he was transferred to the first group workshop for color tubes. He was berated by Zhou Shaoming (male) and Yao (first name unknown). He was forced to start his work at night, and even when he finished his work, he was not allowed to leave. They also insulted him by forcing him to lick sputum. Then he was forced to stand where he was handcuffed for 16 days (from August 23 to September 6, 2006, which exceeded the time limit by one day, as he originally was forced to be handcuffed for 15 days). As a result, his feet became swollen.

On November 10, 2006, since the first group of the color tube workshop was removed, he was transferred to the fourth group workshop for electronics. On November 11, 2006, he was beaten severely by the group leader, Tian Yubao. At that time, two of his teeth were loosened. His feet and the left side of his ribs were also injured. At the meeting that night, the people who watched over him were ordered publicly to beat Mr. Zeng from then on.

Detained fellow practitioners Mr. Liu Shenghua and Mr. Wang Shengliangare were also mistreated the same way.
