A Discussion of Purity, Truthfulness, Dignity and Righteousness

(Clearwisdom.net) After I read an article on Minghui entitled, "A Brief Discussion on Becoming Unattached to Everyday People's Principle," a passage of it resonated within me. I was touched.

In the article, the practitioner said, "Those who truly believe in the Fa have let go of their human hearts. They do not have thoughts of worries and impurity, thus they are pure, truthful, dignified, and righteous." This is so true! After seven years of cruel and insane persecution by the evil and by cultivating the Fa, practitioners were able to break through with dignity and righteousness, showing that "one righteous mind can subdue one hundred evils." (Lecture Five, Zhuan Falun, 2000 version)

Prior to July 20, 1999, I remember a sense of gradual change in circumstances as we continuously studied the Fa and cultivated. I had a premonition that a huge tribulation was about to arrive. Therefore, I was more diligent in studying the Fa, practicing the exercises and sharing with other practitioners. In tears, I wrote this statement in front of Teacher's picture, "Teacher, isn't death the ultimate test? But, this does not matter to a cultivator who truly understands the meaning of life."

I told my family, "Dafa gave me a new life. If one day Dafa encounters any tribulations, I'm willing to protect it with my life. Although this thought is based on ordinary people's principles, my heart of cultivating in Dafa is steadfast."

When July 20, 1999 arrived and the evil persecution spread throughout China, I could not imagine the extent of its wild rampage, even though I was mentally prepared. The head of the evil behaved like a hoodlum, utilizing the entire nation as machinery to fabricate rumors and to bring false charges against Teacher and Dafa. They poisoned so many sentient beings! I recall that even some practitioners were confused when we went to Beijing to validate Dafa. We stayed at a hotel in Beijing and watched a TV station that was broadcasting programs defaming Teacher and Dafa. We shared afterwards. Some practitioner's thoughts were swayed by the evil rumors. I shared my views with dignity and righteousness. I said, "I think everything the TV program says are rumors and false charges. This is a test to see if we can be steadfast in our belief in Dafa in the middle of a tribulation. I have no doubts about Teacher and Dafa."

I took my firm heart and belief to Beijing to clarify the truth and validate Dafa four or five times. I did not encounter any tribulation.

My heart ached when I saw practitioners being persecuted and illegally detained. I endured misunderstandings with my family when Dafa and Teacher were attacked by the evil. I just wanted to "clarify the truth" about Dafa and obtain justice for Dafa. I was sent home every time I went to Beijing to appeal.

At that time, I did not understand why every time I was illegally arrested, I was sent home in a passenger vehicle. Sometimes either the police or my work unit would send me home. Other times my family would take me home. I realize now, that if "Disciples' righteous thoughts are strong, Master has the power to turn the tide."
