(Clearwisdom.net) The Jiaozhi Division of Nanhu Forced Labor Camp in Anhui Province detains Falun Gong practitioners. More than 30 practitioners are illegally detained there.

The officials of the labor camp have one guard to watch over each practitioner, putting practitioners under surveillance 24 hours a day. The practitioners are beaten, deprived of sleep, forced to stand for long periods, confined in a solitary compartment, and made to put on tightened hats.

The prison guards recently organized "helpers" to forcefully brainwash and "transform" practitioners, using extreme pressure, and completely isolate and watch over them. The guards also restarted the so-called "education," isolation, and brainwashing of those practitioners whose terms were over. They instigated the helpers to insult, beat, and verbally abuse practitioners. Some practitioners, who could not reach their so-called standards, were forced to stand for long periods and were deprived of sleep. The guards even extended the practitioners' forced labor terms and refused to release them.

Practitioner Mr. Lu Qinghai was confined in a solitary compartment and forced to put on the tightened hat for a long time because he firmly believes in Falun Dafa and refused to cooperate with the unreasonable demands of the guards. The prison guards and helpers often verbally abused, beat, and insulted him as he held hunger strikes many times to protest the unlawful persecution.

Practitioner Mr. Guo Guanghua should have been released at the beginning of November. However, his term was extended for ten days by prison guards Zhang Youquan, Zhu Qinghua, and Li Shixin.

In October 2006, practitioner Mr. Yang Haisheng refused to take the so-called "general legal knowledge test." As a result, he was forced to stay up at night, stand in a solitary confinement room while handcuffed, and to wear a tightened hat. Prison guard Wang Peilin even hung Mr. Yang up by the window of the workshop to show him to the public.

In order to uphold justice and protest against the persecution, practitioner Mr. Yang Yulin went to the prison guards to clarify the truth and rescue fellow practitioners. Prison guards Zhang Youquan, Zhu Qinghua, Xu Wenguang, Wang Peilin, Li Shixin, and Yuan Baoping (all male) took turns mistreating him. They forced him to do heavy labor during the day, deprived him of sleep, made him stay up late at night, and punished him by forcing him to stand. Sometimes, they made him stay up until about 3:00 a.m. or even until dawn.

At present, these Falun Dafa practitioners are still suffering torture. Their minds and bodies have been severely damaged.
