My Family and I Witnessed a Circle of Light Surrounding Master's Picture

I live in a farming village. My whole family started to practice Falun Gong in 2004. After studying the Fa, we realized the true meaning of life. We realized we had been waiting for Dafa, generation after generation. After we started to practice Falun Gong, we steadfastly did the three things that Master requested.

"Study Fa, obtain Fa; Compare in studying, compare in cultivating; Examine each and every deed; Accomplishing is cultivating." ("Solid Cultivation" from Hong Yin English translation version B)

Four to five months after we started to practice Falun Gong, my son's third eye was opened. He saw Master's law body sitting on a lotus flower in the sky. Sometimes Master conjoined His hands (jieyin), sometimes He held one palm erect, sometimes He held the lotus hand position, and sometimes He held the gestures for enhancing divine powers. What he saw was exactly the same as Master's description in Zhuan Falun that trees, walls, dogs, and cows were trying to talk to him. He could know a person's previous lives, such as whether they were animals, plants, or human beings. I will not describe this too much right now. Later, I will write these things down to share with fellow practitioners.

Through continuously studying the Fa, practicing the exercises, and doing the three things Master requested, my son often told us what he saw. Therefore, my whole family realized the responsibilities and missions of practitioners in the Fa-rectification period. The obligations of practitioners are to assist Master to rectify the Fa, eliminate the evil, and save sentient beings.

The financial condition of my family is relatively good in the farming village. Before I started to practice Falun Gong, I planned to save some money for my son to build his own house and get married. After I obtained the Fa, I began to understand the real meaning of life and was not attached to fame or profit any more. Master said,

"As a Dafa disciple you should just pitch in what you can--be it money, effort, or whatnot." ("Teaching the Fa at the Meeting with Asia-Pacific Students")

One weekend, in the morning, I went to the credit union of our village and withdrew a relatively large amount of money. I planned to send the money to a local truth-clarification materials production center that afternoon. I came back home around 11:30 a.m. My son was already back from school. My daughter had just woken up because she worked a 2^nd shift job. My wife was making dumplings. We got ready for sending forth righteous thoughts at noon. When I passed the picture of Master (Master sitting in an armchair), a circle of light slowly appeared behind Master's head. I was surprised and called the rest of the family come to see it. They came immediately. At this moment, all our family witnessed that a circle of light slowly appeared on Master's picture. All of us could not help making the Heshi gesture (a sign of respect), tears streaming down our faces for feeling so happy and fortunate, before the picture of great compassionate Master. We truly realized the great compassion that Master has for disciples.

Fellow practitioners, the reason that I wrote down my experience of witnessing a circle of light surrounding Master's picture is not for showing off. My real purpose is to inspire fellow practitioners, and remind us all that we are mercifully saved by Master. We should steadfastly do well the three things that Master requests of us and complete our wishes we made long ago in prehistory! Closely follow Master to go back home.

By the way, I found that some of the practitioners in our area treated Dafa cultivation with ordinary people's narrow mindedness or craftiness. A Dafa disciple should understand that this is not right. Dafa is exactly opposite to ordinary people's thinking. In addition, as a Dafa disciple, all our behaviors are closely watched by Buddhas, Taos, and Gods in other dimensions. Master's law body is behind us. Fa guardian gods are watching us, and the old forces are also glaring menacingly at us looking for loopholes. Therefore, we must behave well during these last moments. Whatever we do should meet the standard of a cultivator. I am not trying to criticize fellow practitioners. My real purpose is to become diligent together with fellow practitioners. We should use this short remaining period of time to do well the three things.
