(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, while talking with a fellow practitioner, we discussed going to the place where the evil was detaining Dafa practitioners in the capital city, to send forth righteous thoughts. The fellow practitioner said, "The New Year is coming soon. There are many things to do. Plus my kid is on winter break. I want to spend more time with my kid. Also, my husband might not be happy with me if I go out." After hearing what the fellow practitioner said, I felt sad. Fa-rectification has reached the final stage. However, my fellow practitioner is still driven by the human mindset and would not differentiate what is urgent from what is not. I was worried. This kind of situation may also exist in other fellow practitioners to different degrees. I wrote this article to remind fellow practitioners who may have the same thoughts.

Master Li said in Zhuan Falun,

"If this sentimentality is not relinquished, you will be unable to practice cultivation. If you are free from this sentimentality, nobody can affect you. An everyday person's mind will be unable to sway you. What takes over in its place is benevolence, which is something more noble."

We must remember this all the time. We are Dafa practitioners. Master wants us to cultivate ourselves in this ordinary society and not to strive for comfort and for living a better life. Master said in "Teaching the Fa in Canada, 2006,"

"Your true improvement will always be first and foremost, and the consummation of your cultivation is always first and foremost."

Facing the upcoming Chinese New Year, there are many things to do in a family. If we treat these things from the perspective of an ordinary person, we might have more and more household things to do. The more busy we are, the more chaos there will be. If we judge things as a practitioner and consider how a practitioner should handle them, it will be another kind of situation.

For instance, one fellow practitioner talked about an incident she experienced. During the last Qingming holiday, her child was preparing for the college examination. Her family was preparing a tombstone for the elders who had passed away. She was preparing for an exam for promotion and a salary increase. Nonetheless, she also spent time to study the Fa and do the exercises. Facing all this, she was not worried. She calmly studied the Fa and did the exercises. She did whatever needed to be done. Everything transpired in its natural way. Fifteen days later, all the results were good, beyond her expectation. This was especially true of her computer exam, which she thought she might not pass. On the contrary, she was one of those who had high scores. It was really like what Teacher said in Zhuan Falun,

"Good or evil comes from a person's spontaneous thought, and the thought at that moment can bring about different consequences."

All of this was because she treated herself as a practitioner and she could behave from that point of view in every single thought, word, and action.

At present, everything exists for the sake of Fa-rectification, for the cultivation of Dafa practitioners. Currently, what Teacher asked us to do is for our future fulfillment. Master said in the article, "My Thanks to Sentient Beings Who Have Sent Greetings":

"I would like to tell you: Dafa disciples are the sole hope of salvation for the beings in each region and each nation. Cherishing what they are doing amounts to cherishing yourselves!"

Fellow practitioners, the Fa-rectification is in the final stage. We all should have the sense of urgency; to value time is to value life.

Let's remember Teacher's words and maintain righteous thoughts and righteous actions. As divine beings in human society, we should grasp the opportunities during the New Year holidays. Visit more people and communicate and share experiences. Grasp the time to clarify the truth and persuade people to quit the Chinese Communist Party, thus saving more people. Do not spend too much time on other things, nor should we reduce the time spent on Fa study and exercises. Because only if we calm down and study the Fa well will we have stronger righteous thoughts, which is the guarantee for doing other things well.
