Exposing the Persecution in the Xinhua Labor Camp in Sichuan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Since January 24 2006, some of the Falun Dafa practitioners in the Xinhua Labor Camp who had previously compromised with the evil have made solemn statements in writing or orally, claiming they want to resume their practice of Falun Dafa.

The Falun Dafa practitioners used every opportunity to clarify the truth to the police and other prisoners. They destroyed the evil posters and the boards defaming Falun Dafa, thus removing the evil propaganda. Some practitioners used the method of staging a hunger strike to oppose the persecution. A scheduled meeting slandering Falun Dafa had no takers so the police increased the severity of the persecution. The assistant head of the prison, Zhao Zeyong declared punishment for a group of practitioners by unleashing a wave of violence. The practitioners, including Luo Qingsheng, Wu Xingdong, Mi Tao, Lu Chunshan, Zhou Guoping, Li Wenquan and Meng Hualong, had no fear at all. They called out, "Falun Dafa is good," and "Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa." Inspired by this, all the practitioners then started calling out the same messages, their voices resounding in each corner and lasting a long time. The policemen were so angry that their faces turned black with their bodies shivering. The guards then bound the practitioners' hands behind their heads. The prison sentences of Luo Qingsheng, Wu Xingdong, Mi Tao and Lu Chunshan were extended. The prison sentences of Zhou Guoping, Li Wenquan and Meng Hualong were also extended and they were strictly monitored.

The Labor Camp also dispatched more policemen to the No 6 and No 2 groups to assist in the persecution. The vigil by the police to watch the practitioners was increased at night. They adopted various means to ensure a compulsory implementation of rules, a strict management of the practitioners, and focused attacks on some targeted individuals. They frequently instigated the prisoners to drag the practitioners to a small room to torture them. They forbade the practitioners to go to the washroom, and beat those who could not stand. The police put questions attacking Falun Dafa on the exam paper. Whoever refused to answer theses questions according to their requirements had their prison sentence extended and were monitored strictly.

The police adopted various torture methods like chopping at the face with iron spikes or pen tips, forcing practitioners to kneel down, spitting at them, hitting their faces, burning, handcuffing, and tying them up, hitting practitioners with a spiked baton, and shocking them with an electric baton. The chief of the prison, Su Xin, policemen Zhang Xiaoming, Pu Jing and Shen Rui were the vanguard of persecution. They abused the practitioners and declared, "I am beating you, but so what? The more you appeal, the higher will be my post and my salary."

The police hate the firm and resolute practitioners and fear them very much. Practitioner, Lu Zhiyong from Fuyang, Anhui was originally a model policeman in Heishui County, Sichuan. He is a good student from the Political and Law College. Since he was detained, he refused to cooperate with the evil. He refused to report during roll call, wear prison clothes, sing prison songs or take any "exam." He was punished many times with extension of his sentence. The police instigated the prison guards to push him to the ground, carry him out of prison and relocate him to a secret site to persecute him. The police administered anesthesia on Lu Zhiyong. Many policemen and prisoners wrapped him up and carried him out of the prison. His current whereabouts are not known.
