A Child's Change While Cultivating Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) My child started cultivating Falun Dafa when he was five years old, in November 1998. In 2001, I was persecuted and imprisoned, and my child was not attending school at that time. When I returned home several years later, my child was already a fourth grader. During the many years of persecution, while enduring the pain of losing his mother and the discrimination from teachers and schoolmates who did not understand the truth, my child had changed from a lively, active child to a timid, quiet child. Years of psychological pain were frozen on his little face, which was full of pain and melancholy. The two corners of his mouth sagged, and his innocent laughter was gone. What's even worse is that he had not studied the “Fa” in a long time and had doubts about cultivation.

The child was born to me in order to obtain Falun Dafa, and I had the responsibility of leading him to walk a righteous path. I could not just watch the old forces damaging a young Falun Dafa disciple right under my nose. I told him about the cruelty of the evil Communist Party and why Falun Dafa was persecuted. In the beginning, when my child had learned Falun Dafa, even though he was young, he respected Master and the Fa from the bottom of his heart. When he heard on the television such propaganda from the Chinese Communist Party as, "Under the Chinese Communist Party's leadership, the entire Party, armed forces, and all the people united around Jiang Zemin has achieved such and such achievements," he would turn off the television and say seriously, "What kind of feats? What it is doing is just persecuting Falun Gong." When the deceitful propaganda of the Chinese Communist Party blotted out the sky, he never watched the false propaganda and turned off the television on his own initiative. My child and I have suffered massive pain. Under the old force's persecution, he was about to unconsciously leave the Fa. But through studying the Fa, my child gradually gained back his composure and started to study the Fa anew.

Falun Dafa has given him life once more; after studying the Fa, he became open and naturally bright. Happiness has returned to him. My friends and neighbors all praise him as sensible, well educated, and special. At those times, I tell them, "It is Falun Dafa that made him more sensible."

Falun Dafa opened his wisdom, and his academic scores are suddenly making progressive leaps. The teachers and schoolmates are all curious about his dramatic improvement. The schoolmates asked him, "What's your secret for being so good at studying?” During the period of my imprisonment, because nobody looked after him, his standing in his classes was the third worst. He could not complete the winter and summer vacation homework very well. After studying Falun Dafa, in the final exam of the fourth grade semester, he scored 100 in the mathematics section. His overall score also rose from the third worst to be in the top few. He stands 20th among over 500 students of his same grade. In the entrance examination from elementary school to middle school he did very well and was admitted into the key class of the middle school with outstanding scores. Now, no matter how heavy his workload is, he persists in studying the Fa every night. Each time he studies the Fa, he'll first wash his hands clean, and only then will he go to read the Fa. Every time he reads through “Zhuan Falun,” he requests me to burn incense for Master. I asked him, "What were you thinking in your heart while kowtowing to Master?" He told me, "I said to Master 'Your young disciple has read the book once more. Your young disciple wishes Master health, and I will certainly study well.'"
