Ms. Xie Lijuan from Jilin Province Is Abducted, Whereabouts Unknown

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Xie Lijuan is around 28 years of age and is unmarried. She graduated from Jilin University and is the only postgraduate student in the State Library of Jilin Province. She was reported to the authorities as a Falun Gong practitioner and was sentenced to two years of forced labor. She was tortured with electric baton shocks on her thighs and genitals. For an unmarried girl, she had suffered inhumane torture both physically and mentally. Her mind became unstable from the torture. At the end of 2006, she was abducted again by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials from her workplace. Her mind was seriously attacked again. After the ordeal, she was unable to recognize her colleagues who visited her. It is not clear where she is currently being detained.
