Reading Teacher’s New Article and Understanding the Source of Interference

(Clearwisdom.net) After studying Teacher’s article, “Disintegrate Completely All the Meddling Deities in the Three Realms that Have a Hand in Interfering with Fa-Rectification,” I suddenly thought of something my mother talked about several days ago. She began to learn Dafa at the end of 1998 but gave up practicing after the persecution started on July 20, 1999. Recently she has been reading books on Buddhism, and she also has gone to some temples.

After she returned from visiting a temple out of town this February and March, she said to me: “Before I went to the temple my legs ached; after I returned my legs were not painful.” She implied that going to the temple was very effective. She also said that several hundred people went there by bus on “luck turning day.” She said that many ordinary people donated food, vegetables, and incense to the temples. Some even directly donated money, and they were very devious. She mentioned that temples are very rich now; monks in temples have plenty of food and drink. They wanted to build more temples. I was very shocked at hearing this. It never occurred to me that so many people still believed in religions in the Dharma-ending time and piously made offerings to people in temples. I felt that these people were pitiable.

When I finished reading Teacher’s article, “Disintegrate Completely All the Meddling Deities in the Three Realms that Have a Hand in Interfering with Fa-Rectification,” I understood that the meddling deities were playing leading roles in temples and were leading everyday people to believe in them and to make sacrifices to them. Teacher said in the article:

“At present they are doing all they can to prevent religious believers from learning the facts, causing the billions of people with religious affiliations to miss this chance that they have waited millennia for, and putting the sentient beings in danger of being weeded out; and they have even been directly interfering with Fa-rectification.”

I was surprised when I read “billions of people”. This number is so huge, and all these meddling deities that did not leave the Three Realms would incur huge amounts of karma as Teacher rectified the “Fa”.

In our area there are some fellow practitioners who were diligent prior to the persecution, yet after the persecution they were arrested, beaten and sentenced to forced labor. When they were released they had been “transformed” and however we tried to persuade them, they would not listen to us. A family of three sold their house and quit their jobs to practice cultivation in a temple out of town. Some people even forced their husbands into divorce so they could become nuns. Now think of it, doesn’t this have some relation to the meddling deities Teacher speaks about in the most recent article? They have done great harm to people!

Reading Teacher's latest article, I understand that Fa-rectification is moving forward by a large step.
