Practitioner Mr. Xi Zhaojun has been on a hunger strike since his arrest February 24, 2007. It's been almost a month and there is rumor of sentencing, but Mr. Xi's life is now in danger.

On January 21, 2007, four practitioners went to Huamin Township in Longjiang County to give out truth clarifying articles regarding Falun Gong, including Mr. Tao Yongchun and Ms. Xiaojia from the Fulaerji District of Qiqihar City. A local resident reported them to the police, and officers from Huamin Township Police Station arrested them. The other two practitioners escaped and now have nowhere to stay. Mr. Tao Yongchun and Ms. Xiaojia were sent to the Longjiang County Detention Center the very next day. They were still there at the time of this report (over 48 days).

On January 25, 2007, officers broke into Mr. Tao's house and unlawfully confiscated Teacher's picture, Dafa books, truth-clarifying materials, an audio recorder, and an MP3 player.

Practitioner Ms. Wang Shu'e, from Delisi in Wafangdian, was illegally arrested and her property confiscated on March 2, 2007. She is currently detained in the Wafangdian Detention Center.

Mr. Zhang Jingjiang, a college graduate, was taken to a forced labor camp because he practices Falun Gong. His workplace has persecuted him by assigning him to wash cars since his return from the camp. Recently, police from the Railroad Public Safety Department of Mudanjiang City harassed Mr. Zheng's wife at work and home. His wife refused to open the door the second time they came. Police monitor them with binoculars.

Practitioners Ms. Zhang Guizhi and Ms. Liu Junli, from the Pingshan District of Benxi City, went out to clarify the truth on March 10, 2007. Officers from the Pingshan Police Station arrested them and sent them to Ajialing Detention Center.

The Dewai Police Station in Xicheng District, arrested Mr. Cheng Yuxin in July 2006. He was sentenced to two years in a forced labor camp in late 2006. Mr. Cheng is currently being held and enduring torture at the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp in Beijing. His wife, Ms. Ouyang Yan, was forced to leave home and her whereabouts are currently unknown.

Mr. Wang Jinlong and his wife, Ms. Li Ruilian, are from the Fangshan District, but they were forced to leave their home. Why? They refused to give up practicing Falun Gong. On March 9, 2007, Mr. Wang Jinlong and Ms. Li Ruilian were arrested at their Tuoli Town apartment in the Fangshan District. Officers from the Fangshan District Public Safety Bureau and the Tuoli Town Police Station took them away.

On March 2, 2007, officers from the National Security Team of the Fangshan District Public Safety Bureau arrested practitioner Ms. Dong Xiufen at home in Su Village, Doudian Town in the Fangshan District. She was taken to a brainwashing center in Xiaoqu of Beiluyuan. The center refused to let allow visits from Ms. Dong's family.

Practitioner Mr. Yuan Jundang, in his 40s, is from Anzhuang Village in Yali Town, Wei County, Handan City. The police arrested him in 2003 for printing truthful articles about Falun Dafa for distribution. They sentenced him to 11 years in prison. Mr. Yuan is currently held in Zhengzhou Prison in Henan Province.

Beishicao Township police arrested practitioners Ms. Liu Fengnv and Mr. Li Xinhuan from Hejian City. They are currently locked up at the Hejian City Public Safety Bureau, where they have been tortured with electric batons.

At 9:00 p.m. on October 5, 2006, Xu Daoyi, an official from the Liangtang Police Station, and seven officers from the Guan County Public Safety Bureau broke into practitioner Mr. Guo Baoting's home. They confiscated his property and took his copy of Zhuan Falun. Mr. Guo and another practitioner, Ms. Cao Hexian, were taken to the 610 Office Brainwashing Center in Guan County. The next day, the practitioners were taken to a detention center where they were tortured for 31 days. The center extorted 17,000 yuan from Ms. Cao's family before they released her. The center extorted 23,000 yuan from Mr. Guo's family, but kept him an additional 35 days before releasing him.

On October 7, 2006, the same people arrested Mr. Li Liangtang, Mr. Li Zengying, and a female practitioner from Caizhuang. They were taken to the 610 Office Brainwashing Center and tortured.

On November 12, 2006, they arrested practitioner Mr. Hu Sifan in Wangzhuang Village and tortured him at the 610 Office there. Mr. Hu had to pay a fine before being released.

Public Safety Bureau police arrested practitioner Ms. Li Jie on the way home from work on March 9, 2007. Ms. Li was from Chengguan in Huaiyang County.

On February 5, 2007, the Liangyuan District Court unlawfully sentenced four practitioners. They had already been illegally imprisoned for over a year. Mr. Zhang Jun and Mr. Li Xingrong were sentenced to four years. Mr. Feng Guangrong was sentenced to three years, and Mr. Tao Weijun was sentenced to two years, with a two year probation.

Practitioner Ms. Hao Menghua retired from the food industry in Cao County. Ms. Hao went to Beijing in October 2000 to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong. The Cao County Public Safety Bureau sent her to the Wangcun Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province. In October 2005, Cao County Public Safety Bureau and National Security Section officer Li Bing took some officers to Ms. Gao's home to confiscate her property and arrest her. Ms. Gao was sent to the Cao County Detention Center and tortured. In September 2006, the court tried Ms. Gao and sentenced her to four years. Ms. Gao had high blood pressure and many other illnesses that caused the Shandong Province Prison to refuse her three times. The deputy head of the Cao County Public Safety Bureau went to Ji'nan City himself. He managed to force the Ji'nan City Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province to accept Ms. Gao.

Ms. Wang Shuzhi is 70 years old and a retired teacher in Cao County. The Cao County Public Safety Bureau arrested Ms. Wang while she was clarifying the truth in October 2006. She was tortured in the Cao County Detention Center. Ms. Wang was sentenced to three years in a secret trial in November 2006. She is now imprisoned at No. 93, Gongye South Road, Ji'nan City, Shandong Province.

In December 2006, police arrested Ms. Wang Mei and sentenced her to a year in a forced labor camp. Ms. Wang is in her 50s and from Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province.

At 7:00 p.m. on December 11, 2007, Ms. Wang Rurong and Ms. Zhang Luping were arrested. They are from Hongyang Village in Yangwan Township of Suji Town in the Shizhong District of Leshan City.

Ms. He Li was 43 years old and worked in Neijiang City. In May 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong. The Neijiang City Public Safety Bureau arrested her, detained her in their detention center for a month, and fined her 5000 yuan. That same year, Ms. He went to Beijing to appeal again. The Neijiang City Public Safety Bureau arrested her and sentenced her to two years in a forced labor camp. In June 2002, she brought some truth-clarifying materials back from Chengdu City to Neijiang City. On her way back to Chengdu City, 610 Office agents arrested her and locked her in the Chengdu Detention Center. Later, she was transferred to the Neijing City Detention Center. The Neijiang City Middle Court unlawfully sentenced her to eight years. She is now imprisoned in the 47th Prison Ward in the Hong'an Village Women's Prison located in the Longquanyi District of Sichuan Province.

Practitioner Ms. Deng Qingxiang was from the Hongqi Community in the Yuhua District, Changsha City, Hunan Province. On February 15, 2007, the local police broke into her 8^th floor home and brutally dragged her down the stairs. Then they pushed her into a police car.

In 2006, practitioner Mr. Yin Weibing was distributing truth-clarifying flyers in Beijing and someone reported him to the police. The police arrested Mr. Yin and extorted 10,000 yuan from his family but didn't release him. Mr. Yin was sentenced to three years in the Haidian District of Beijing. He was transferred to the Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp in Hunan Province.

Practitioner Mr. Xiao Wenhui is 30 years old and from Minhou County. He previously worked at the Bureau of Audits in Minhou County. Someone reported him to the police when he was clarifying the truth. Mr. Xiao was sentenced to seven years and imprisoned in the Minhou County Detention Center.

Ms. Peng Qingqing from Wuhan City has been illegally detained in the Mental Health Center of the Renmin Hospital at Huhan University for two months. The Party Commissioners and the director of the hospital ordered a doctor to inject Ms. Peng with unknown drugs that caused her great physical and psychological damage. Ms. Peng can barely sit normally.
