Making Good Use of Our Time to Save Sentient Beings

I am a veteran Falun Dafa practitioner who was illegally sentenced to a forced labor camp over the past four years. Thus I idled away a lot of the precious time left for saving sentient beings while in detention. Yet I am firm in my cultivation and I am now determined to follow Teacher and to fulfill our mighty vow made in prehistoric times. I would like to share here with my fellow practitioners about how to catch up and save sentient beings and recover from the losses that we have incurred.

Having suffered during the persecution I had such a strong attachment to fear at first that I dared not clarify the truth to strangers. So I started with my family. I was eager to go back to my mother's home after having been released from the forced labor camp, although I had not been there for over ten years. I felt that the most important thing was to go back and save them. Upon hearing that I was going back to my mother's home, my husband and children all tried to prevent me from doing so. I knew it was the old forces that manipulated my family members to hold me back. I exchanged experiences with fellow practitioners about this and they encouraged me a lot. I made up my mind to go and no one could keep me from validating the Fa. As soon as I became resolute, I returned smoothly to my mother's home. After clarifying the truth to them, all my relatives resigned from the CCP.

I thought I returned home just for the purpose of saving the poisoned sentient beings. I clarified the truth to whoever came to my mother's home, but my relatives told me not to. I knew the old forces were again trying to manipulate my relatives to stop me from saving sentient beings. So I told them, "You do not have a good state of mind. You are glad that I have saved you, but others should also be saved since they are human beings, too. You should also treat others kindly. This will be good for both you and them." Their knowing sides then became sober. In this way, I persuaded 30 people to quit the CCP within one month. The result of personally clarifying the truth to people was quite good.

I came to better understand that we should hurry up and clarify the truth, race against time and against the old forces to save sentient beings. At the same time my attachment of fear weakened a lot. As long as I have the opportunity, I will not miss it. I will not give up whoever comes in contact with me, whether it is when I buy vegetables or when someone comes to clean my house. Sometimes I buy a little bit of produce in order to seize the opportunity to clarify the truth face to face and persuade them to quit the CCP.

Sometimes I also get the opportunity to clarify the truth to people by recognizing them as my fellow villagers. I thought because our purpose is to save people, everyone should be viewed as our relatives and thus I regard whomever I meet as my fellow villagers and achieve a good effect clarifying the truth to them. Now the only thing I want to do is clarify the truth to more people, which, I think, is the greatest compassion. So far I have persuaded 160 to 170 people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

I hope that fellow practitioners will follow what Teacher has taught:

Study the Fa and gain the Fa,
Focus on how you study and cultivate,
Let each and every thing
be measured against the Fa.
Only then, with that,
is it actually cultivation.
