Eliminate the Evil from Its Root

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, when I was reading articles on the Minghui/Clearwisdom
website that exposed the persecution, I frequently found that at the end of the
articles, the authors proposed practitioners who read the articles send forth
righteous thoughts. If righteous thoughts are only aiming at the specific
persecution mentioned in the articles, we may be at a loss as to what to do
since there are so many cases of persecution. Teacher said, "There are also some students who, when they send righteous thoughts,
specifically target in their minds one or a few evil elements, and that
prevents the gong and the divine powers they send out from having the maximum
effect. Of course, if the circumstances are special and you target one evil
being or a few evil beings as you send forth righteous thoughts, either by
yourself or together, then that's something you should do, and the
concentrated power is tremendous. But when you normally send righteous
thoughts together on a daily basis you should chase down the evil on a larger
scale. You shouldn't target one or a few evil beings each day, each
time." ("Righteous Thoughts") We know that all of the evil persecution has the same root, namely, the old
forces (and their notions), who are attempting to interfere with Fa-rectification
and saving sentient beings. They cannot handle the relationship between
practitioners and Fa-rectification properly and cannot let go of their
attachments. They manipulate evil people and rotten ghosts to commit persecution
whenever possible. I enlightened that all practitioners should have calm and steady minds. No
matter what the evil does, we just steadfastly send forth righteous thoughts to
deny it and eliminate it from its root. For individual cases, local
practitioners may send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate specific evils. I
also would like to remind fellow practitioners who wrote or read those articles
