Grasp Tightly the Long-awaited Opportunity That Will Pass Instantly

(Clearwisdom.net) Master said, "No matter how high a level a God comes from, in the eyes of Gods,
when he eventually reaches this human place he has basically died."
("Teaching the Fa at the Conference in Vancouver, Canada" in 2003) As I understand this, it happens because he is lost in the maze of humanity. Fifty-eight years ago I was born into a very poor family, in a beautiful
small town backed by a mountain and surrounded by water. My mother was a person
who believed in Buddha. Since I was quite young I imitated the scripture chants
while playing outside the mosque, and often climbed up and down the Buddha Cave.
Thus, I had a predestined relationship with Buddha. Master said, "What is the toughest hardship of all? It is believed in Buddhism that
to be human is to suffer--as long as you are human beings, you must
suffer." (Zhuan Falun, Lecture Nine, 2000 U.S. version) In January 1997, as if it were all arranged, several qigong and religious
friends introduced Falun Dafa to me at the same time. It's quite a pity that
although they had showed me the door of Dafa, they have by now all lost their
own opportunities for salvation, because they could not let go of their qigongs
and religions. I tried very hard to persuade them to grasp the opportunity, but
some still thought their attainments in qigong or Buddhist scriptures were
greater. They measured the Great Law
of the Cosmos with shallow Buddhist doctrines. How can this comparison be made? They couldn't understand what Master has pointed out in Zhuan Falun, "In particular, many of our practitioners who study one practice today
and another tomorrow have already messed up their own bodies. Their cultivation
is bound to fail. While others advance by taking the main road in cultivation,
these people are on the side roads. If they practice one way, the other way will
interfere. If they practice the other way, this practice will interfere.
Everything is interfering with them, and they can no longer succeed in
cultivation practice."(Zhuan Falun, Lecture One, 2000 U.S. version) As a matter of fact, every human being has the seed for cultivation practice
planted in their mind, and deep down every human being is longing to returning
to their true self. All people are waiting and searching. I realized that Master had been taking care of me and protecting me, even
before I started practicing Dafa. When I attended another qigong seminar I felt
cold all over, became quite sick and almost fainted, but I didn't realize what
was wrong. I used what I had learned in a qigong class once to treat other
people's toothaches, but afterwards my teeth started to ache and suppurate, year
after year. On top of my already poor health, I brought others' illnesses onto
myself. As a result I couldn't have a single day of peace and was haunted by
constant illness and pain. Because other qigongs were quite costly, I couldn't afford them and had to
give it up. I did not realize the terrible impact of it until I started
practicing Falun Dafa several years later. Interference even prevented me from
correctly pronouncing Master's name. When I dosed during Fa-study, a fox head
would often startle me. The interference didn't leave me until I burned all
those qigong books. I could pass this tribulation only because of Master's
protection. My godly side was clear, and my mind had become more and more sober.
Dominated by my inborn true self, I resolutely gave up all qigong systems and
followed the rule of "no second cultivation way," to practice Falun
Dafa exclusively! After returning home from work I read Zhuan Falun from
cover to cover and attended a seminar to watch Master's lecture videos. Just as Master said, "There are always about five or ten percent of the people in each
class who cannot keep up with the others." "A few individuals may fall asleep and wake up as soon as I finish my
lecture. Why is that? It is because their brains have illnesses that need to
be treated." (Zhuan Falun, Lecture 2, 2000 U.S. version) During those eight nights, I fell asleep while watching (or listening) to the
lectures. To make up for it, I borrowed the videotapes and watched them again at
home during the Chinese New Year holiday and invited my relatives and friends to
join me. What Master taught was so refreshing. Every word imprinted on my mind. Master said, "For quite some time now, the old forces and all of the meddling
deities in the Three Realms that play a negative role have been having a
terrible impact. Early on, when Dafa disciples were obtaining the Fa, they
severely interfered with the Fa-rectification and Dafa disciples' and sentient
beings' obtaining of the Fa and cultivating." ("Disintegrate
Completely All the Meddling Deities in the Three Realms that Have a Hand in
Interfering with Fa-Rectification") For instance, it was due to the meddling deities' interference that my qigong
and religious friends I mentioned earlier had lost their opportunities to
practice Dafa that they had waited for for tens of thousands of years. Moreover,
knowing that my two younger sisters were practicing Dafa, a few Christians even
tried many times to persuade them to convert to Christianity. They didn't stop
trying until one of my sisters made it very clear that she would steadfastly
practice Dafa. My other younger sister, however, followed them for several years
and didn't come back until a lot of efforts were put forth. One day I talked
with one of the Christians for a long time. She knew me well and believed what I
told her enough to hesitate in her belief, but she still cannot let go of it,
even today. One of my distant elderly relatives does not know me well enough and
has also tried to persuade me to covert to Christianity. Of course her efforts
were in vain, because I knew I would practice Dafa. Another example - I spent time talking with an older woman one day who
believes in Buddhism. She doesn't go to the temple, as she believes the temple
has become corrupt, so she cultivates Buddhism at home. She agreed with
everything I said but sticks to her own way of Buddhism practice. Another example: I have a relative and a friend who are both practicing
Taoism. They thought what I said was better than what their own masters taught
them, and they wanted to introduce me to their masters. It was only by predestined relationships that I have come across some
religious people. I did not do anything differently when I clarified the facts
to them. I have also looked within myself, wondering what omissions I had, to
have to witness them missing their opportunities in front of me so frequently,
especially those who stick with their religions during today's Dafa persecution.
Each of them agreed with what I said, but none of them made a decision to
change, to practice Dafa. These religious believers should be the easiest group
of people to accept Dafa and practice cultivation in Dafa, but they are delayed
just because of the negative roles played by the meddling deities. Now that
Master has published the article "Disintegrate Completely All the Meddling
Deities in the Three Realms that Have a Hand in Interfering with Fa-Rectification,"
we must follow what Master says to eliminate all of the interference wrought by
the meddling deities while sending righteous thoughts. March 20, 2007
