I Was Brutally Tortured Inside Jiuquan Jail in Gansu Province

(Clearwisdom.net) In April of 2003, while I was clarifying the truth to save sentient beings, someone reported me to the police and I was arrested. They illegally sentenced me to four years in prison. I suffered torture and humiliation for three months in Dashaping Jail of Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, and I was then transferred to another local jail until December 1, 2005. I was then secretly transferred to Jiuquan Jail, where I was subjected to more inhuman torture.

More than twenty other Dafa practitioners were sent to Jiuquan Jail with me. We were assigned to different divisions. The first day I arrived, half way through dinner, we were called in and the guards tried to brainwash us. They first pretended to be nice and when they saw that it was not working, the criminal prisoners were ordered to "transform" us at all costs. If there were not enough criminal prisoners in one cell, the entire brigade was used.

Whenever they got a Dafa practitioner to renounce Falun Gong, the jail would give 75 points to the criminal prisoners, which would decrease their serving time by 25 days. Tempted by the apparent benefit, all the criminal prisoners would take turns to brutally beat us. Dafa practitioners were pulled inside pigpens behind the jail, where a brutal beating was constantly in progress around the clock. I was tortured inhumanly for four days. Some of them choked me while others covered my mouth. My neck was so badly swollen I couldn't breathe for a long time. I was beaten so extensively that I was covered with bruises and cuts. All of my teeth were loose, and I couldn't eat anything. I did not get to drink a single drop of water, nor was I able to sleep for one minute. I felt that I had reached the limit. Because my will was not strong enough, I compromised with the evil and agreed to be "transformed". When I got out of the pigpens, I could not walk or eat; all I could do was put some buns soaked with water slowly and painfully into my mouth.

These people have an even more vicious way to persecute Dafa practitioners. Whenever there were Dafa practitioners giving in under the intense pressure, they would hold big gatherings and force these practitioners to speak to everyone and to declare their intentions. If the practitioners followed their request, they would immediately record a great merit for themselves, which could decrease the sentences by as much as six months, depending on the situation. On January 8, 2006, the guards held an "All-Prison Celebration Meeting" and forced all the Dafa practitioners to participate. Every practitioner was followed by six criminal prisoners. They also forced every practitioner (except ones who weren't literate) to prepare a speech prior to the meeting to criticize Falun Gong.

In the beginning, a guard called me in and coerced me to speak against Falun Gong. I declined sternly. I told him, "It is Dafa that cured all my diseases; I was changed from an ordinary person with karma everywhere on the body to a new person with completely different world views. It has also made me understand that, for human beings, besides enjoying life, there are more beautiful places to go to, and that is to return to their true and original states. No one can change these facts." At that point, they turned violent. Brigade Captain Fan Xian, instructor Ma Wenxian and deputy captain Song Ping ordered and instigated the criminal prisoners to brainwash me at all costs. The criminal prisoners brutally beat us, but the guards were the ones that gave the orders. The prisoners were ordered to report the Dafa practitioners' every word and action.

In Jiuquan Jail, the sixth division was the harshest. The most wicked guards are Captain Yu Xueming from the No. 17 team, and Zhao Fuying and Yang Haojun from the No. 18 team. They used the tiger bench, which was a bench made with iron bars in a triangular shape. They handcuffed Dafa practitioner's hands onto the tiger bench, where the tip of one corner of the triangle was directly against the cleft of the buttocks of the practitioner. By doing this, the practitioner would not be able to move at all. Even when practitioners went to work, they still had to carry the benches with them, and sit on them at the working sites.

After I was "transformed", I was transferred to an animal-breeding farm. The guards there ordered us to lie about the number of animals that died, so that they could take the "extra" ones home. When we reported the numbers of dead animals to the guards, they would try to force us to lie.

In Chinese jails, the guards and the criminal prisoners are using each other and acting in collusion to brutally persecute cultivators who believe in "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance". One day they will all be held accountable for their crimes.
