A High School Student Changes His View on Falun Gong

(Clearwisdom.net) My name is Wang Fei. I am a 17 year-old high school student. My aunt is a Falun Gong practitioner. Deceived by the lies on TV, I had shown resentment to her practicing Falun Gong. However, my aunt was patient in clarifying the truth about Falun Gong to me. She told me that what was said on TV were lies and rumors that defamed Falun Gong, and that Falun Gong is teaching people to be good based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance. She said that Falun Gong also has good effects on keeping fit and curing illnesses, but I still only half believed her.

Something that happened to me last year completely changed my view of Falun Gong. One night in February 2006, I contracted appendicitis. It felt so painful that I could not sleep. At that time, school was in session. The next morning I asked my teacher for a four-day sick leave. After I went back home my dad took me to a clinic to get intravenous fluids. However, it did not help, but I felt more and more pain. My face appeared to be pale and wax yellow and I could not stretch my back.

My dad had to take me to a hospital for surgery. Before I went to the hospital, I drank a glass of water which prevented the surgery from taking place that day. It may have been a hint from Falun Gong's Master for me. Afterwards, my mom and I went to my aunt's home which is close to the hospital. We planed to have the surgery on the next day. My aunt talked to me again about other people who benefited from sincerely reciting, "Falun Dafa is good" and "Zhen-Shan-Ren is good." She also showed me several Falun Gong books and truth-clarification materials. I thus learned what Falun Gong was. It teaches people to be good and how to cultivate their hearts, and it is able to help people keep fit and purify their bodies. So I thought I just had to try. I recited in my heart repeatedly, "Falun Dafa is good" and "Zhen-Shan-Ren is good." Unexpectedly, it worked. I felt less pain and I was more convinced.

Finally, I gave up the surgery. I read Falun Dafa books every day and I felt much better than that day when I had just come back from school. However, I still felt uncomfortable. I could not eat but could only drink water. I was like that for three consecutive days. On the fourth day, my illness was suddenly gone and I no longer felt any pain or discomfort. I could also eat. I was so happy to see that the illness was gone. Even the surgery could not help me recover so fast!

Through this incident, I experienced the miraculous power of Dafa. It also made me come to understand why so many people risk their lives to stick to their beliefs, why the evil CCP cannot suppress Falun Gong even after having tried for over seven years, and why more and more people start practicing Falun Gong. The reason is that what they practice is such a great Fa of the cosmos.

When people have good health, they are able to better serve society, and to study and work better, aren't they? When people have righteous minds, they don't do bad things, violate the law, or disturb public order. It's a great thing, isn't it? I do not understand why the evil party must brutally persecute Falun Gong practitioners. The evil party is harming life and society, isn't it?

All good people, please do not be deceived by the evil CCP lies and cover your consciences. Please use your sincerity to understand and renew your views about Falun Gong. From the past to the present, the evil never subdues goodness, which can be proven by history.
