Practitioner Ms. Zhao Hua was arrested in September 2002 and later sentenced to seven years of imprisonment. She is now being held at the No. 3 Team, No. 14 Ward, No. 2 Prison at the Shenyang City Dabei Prison Complex. She has been staging a protest hunger strike since January 19, 2007 (59 days to date). Ms. Zhao was transferred to the General Hospital at the Shenyang City Prison Complex on March 13, 2007.

Practitioner Mr. Wang Xinmin, in his 30's, was arrested and detained in October 2006 only because he clarified the truth and hung a truth-clarifying banner. During his detention, the guards beat him so hard that his legs were fractured and his chest was seriously injured. He suffered all kinds of excruciating torture. He faces a possible four-year prison sentence at present. He appealed to higher authorities and told them that the guards had tortured him so badly that he has become disabled. However, he is still being held.

Practitioner Mr. He Qingkui and his wife from Jilin City were arrested on March 13, 2007. In addition, the Falun Dafa materials production center located in the Jiangcheng High School was destroyed.

Shao Tianfeng and other officers from the Ping'an Town Police Department arrested practitioners Mr. Xu Wenguo, Ms. Wang Hongyan, Mr. Sun Yanhe and Ms. Zhao Yuzhi on the evening of March 3, 2007. The police officers beat the practitioners violently. A policeman grabbed Ms. Wang by the hair, brutally kicked her and punched her in the head. Ms. Wang still has scars on her head.

The officers took Ms. Wang's key, opened her door and ransacked her home. They confiscated four copies of Zhuan Falun, a cell phone valued at 400 yuan, some clothes and other belongings. They even arrested her mother Ms. Zhao Yuzhi, who happened to be visiting. They took her to the Ping'an Town Police Department and handcuffed her to a tiger bench for one night. Mr. Xu, Ms. Wang, and Mr. Sun were hung by their wrists for a whole night. Mr. Sun's face was injured and his ears beaten until they bled profusely. Mr. Xu was beaten so badly that he could not straighten up and has to hold his stomach when walking.

The practitioners were transferred to the Shulan City National Security Team on March 4, 2007. Policeman Li Jiazhe put spicy mustard oil in Ms. Wang's eyes and nose, and beat her badly again. She immediately fainted.

Mr. Xu was sentenced to two years of imprisonment; Ms. Wang and Mr. Sun to one-and-a-half years; and Ms. Zhao to one year. They are now being held at the Shulan City Nanshan Detention Center.

In addition, Qilixiang Township Police Station chief Huang Chengguo and other policemen arrested practitioner Ms. Nie Hao from Songlin Village, Ping'an Town.

Personnel from the Qitaihe City Beixing Farm Police Station followed practitioners and monitored their telephones. Officers drove three police cars to Qitaihe City on February 19, 2007 (the second day of the Chinese New Year) and attempted to persecute practitioner Ms. Cheng Guixiang who had chosen to live away from home to avoid harassment. When Ms. Cheng sent her undergraduate student daughter Ma Ying out of town to go back to school on March 4, she noticed a police car following her the minute the bus took off.

Personnel from the Xiaolingzi Police Station and the Taihe Police Department arrested practitioner Mr. Liu Litao. Mr. Liu's family member went to the Xiaolingzi Police Station on March 14, 2007 and demanded the personnel return the 550 yuan in cash and the motorcycle they had confiscated. Policeman He Baoyu refused. The family member went to the Taihe Police Department later on and requested to see Mr. Liu to give him some clothes and other items, but a plainclothes policeman denied the request and only allowed the family member to leave the clothes there.

Practitioner Ms. Lin Yuexia and a senior woman clarified the truth in Daiwanxiang Township on March 16, 2007. They were reported to the police at 1:00 p.m. As a result, personnel from the Daiwanxiang Township Police Station arrested them. The senior woman was later released. Ms. Lin was sent to the Linqing Detention Center a few hours later. Police officers ransacked Ms. Lin's home on March 17 and confiscated a lot of Falun Dafa books.

610 Office personnel planned the arrests of several practitioners in Jilin Province. Officers from the National Security Division have monitored and followed practitioners for a long time. When they found a truth-clarification materials production center or anything they deemed suspicious, they would deploy some plainclothes police officers to monitor the activities there and then report to the Jilin City 610 Office. Later on, 610 Office personnel ordered officers from the city's National Security Division or National Security sections at local police stations to arrest practitioners.

Personnel from the Changjiu Street Police Precinct have harassed practitioners in their precinct for a long time. They often call practitioners' families and order practitioners to appear at the police station in an attempt to arrest them or find out the whereabouts of practitioners who have chosen to live away from home. They have even brazenly monitored and followed practitioners, or harassed practitioners at their homes since March 2007.

A practitioner surnamed Song, an employee from the Jilin City Ferroalloy Company, was reported. Personnel from the Xinjian Police Station subsequently arrested him/her and took the practitioner to the Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp two months ago.

Practitioners Mr. Meng Xianzhi, Mr. Shan Zhiping, Ms. Yu Xiujun, and Ms. Ye were arrested and are currently being held at the Hongxinglong Administration Bureau Detention Center of Heilongjiang Province. Mr. Meng's and Ms. Ye's Dafa books and some truth-clarification materials were confiscated. Mr. Shan's laptop computer, some CDs, several Dafa books and some truth-clarification materials were also confiscated.

Ms. Zhao Xiuying's family members were awakened during the night by a loud sound from a door and window being smashed on March 3, 2007. Policeman Shao Tianfeng from the Ping'an Town Police Department got into their home by breaking a bathroom window. He ransacked the home and took two audio tapes and two calendars.

A practitioner surnamed Shi was followed and monitored on March 16, 2007. Two people followed him/her again on March 18, 2007.

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Xu, about 36, was reported on March 12, 2007 when she was clarifying the truth. Police officers thus arrested her and ransacked her home, but she was released that night.

Collusion between officers from the Fangshan District 610 Office, the police department and the Hebei Town Police Department led to arrests on February 22, 2007. These persecutors arrested practitioners Mr. Yin Quanji, Ms. Xu Wenping's husband, Mr. Xu Wenxiao and his wife, Cai from Dongzhuangzi Village and Mr. Zhu Junshui from Banbidian Village. Twenty-three practitioners have been arrested so far.

Practitioner Ms. Zheng Qinglan has been held in the No.2 Division of the Tianjin Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp since October 2006. She is a widow and her son is a university student in Fuzhou City. Her relatives and friends usually go to visit her on the 26^th day of every month. Her son returned from Fuzhou City and visited her on January 28, 2007. When he again visited his mother on February 26, he saw that she was emaciated and her hair had turned almost white. She seemed to have lost a lot of weight and was at the point of a mental breakdown.

Chaoyang District Court agents sentenced practitioner Ms. Zhao Rongmin from the Guanzhuang Area, Chaoyang District, Beijing to three years of imprisonment in early March 2007. She is presently being held at the district's police department detention center. Ms. Zhao had previously spent time in a forced labor camp for two years and was released in May 2004. Personnel from the National Security Section of the district's police department arrested her on July 19, 2006 and held her until her recent sentence.

Ms. Zhao's husband is working in another city. Her elderly father-in-law and middle-school-aged daughter have to fend for themselves.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Fengzhai, in her 70s, has been tortured at the Baoding City Forced Labor Camp for refusing to renounce Falun Dafa.

Guards Liu Qingyong and Zhang Zhanqiang deprived her of sleep, locked her up in a small cell, and forced her to sit on a small stool for a long time. They incited criminal inmates to mistreat her. The guards forced her to finish a heavy work assignment daily. If she refused, she was beaten or abused in a different way. However, all these tortures would not make Ms. Liu give up Falun Dafa.

A truth-clarification materials production center at Fengdengwu Tanghedian Village, Fengrun District, Tangshan City was ransacked, as was the one at practitioner Mr. Wang Xiaodong's home in Shaojiajie Village, Shigezhuang Town, Fengrun District. Fortunately, no practitioner was arrested.

Practitioner Mr. Cai Guangyue was born in 1978. He learned that he had severe heart disease one month before the National College Entrance Examination in 1998 and might not be able to attend the exam; however, he started to practice Falun Gong and recovered his health. He was successfully enrolled in the Shandong Province Dongying Petroleum University.

Mr. Cai was dismissed from the university in 2000 because he practiced Falun Gong. His mother sent him to the Jizhou City Brainwashing Center in April 2001 in order to force him to give up practicing Falun Gong. He was released from the brainwashing center in August 2001, and his mother sent him to the university, where he would be forced to renounce Falun Gong before being re-admitted. However, he returned home after going halfway to the university because he did not want to give up Falun Gong. Personnel from the city's No.4 Police Division arrested him in February 2007. Police officers from Hengshui City and Jizhou City ransacked his home. An arrest certificate has been issued for him. He is presently being held at the Jizhou City Detention Center.

21. [Boye County, Hebei Province] Several Practitioners' Homes Ransacked

A township official led two other individuals to break into Mr. Li Laichi's home at Li Village around 5:00 p.m. on March 11, 2007 and threatened him. More than 20 officers from the Chengdong Township Police Station and from the Boye County Government arrived in four police cars at Mr. Li's home again at 3:00 p.m. the next day. They forced his son, a non-practitioner, to sign a document and be fingerprinted. They also confiscated Master's picture and some Dafa books.

More than ten people arrived in three police cars and broke into Ms. Qie Guoying's home at 3:00 p.m. on March 13, 2007. They attempted to force her to sign a document and be fingerprinted, but she refused. Then they ransacked her home.

Following that, the officers went to harass Ms. Zhang Qiaoying at her home. They confiscated some of Master's new writings and some truth-clarification materials.

The officers also ransacked Ms. Li Meizhi's home, but didn't find anything.

22. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Wu Shizhong About to Be Sentenced to Forced Labor

Officers Song Qian and Li Yulei from the Huangtai Police Station in Jinan City arrested practitioner Mr. Wu Shizhong at his home and confiscated a computer and a printer that belongs to practitioner Mr. Wu's son on March 12, 2007. They wanted to send Mr. Wu to the Jinan City Forced Labor Camp, but the camp refused to accept Mr. Wu because of his high blood pressure. Mr. Wu was sent back to the police station the afternoon of March 15, 2007. Officers from the police station are planning to send Mr. Wu to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp for one year and nine months.

23. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrest of Practitioner Yu Minghui

Police officers took practitioner Ms. Yu Minghui, 26, from the Damaidao Street to the Taishan Road Police Station. They have ransacked her home three times. When her parents went to see her at the police station, policemen beat them ruthlessly and pushed them out of the police station. Ms. Yu's father's legs were injured.

Officers from Liquan Village, Kenli Town have monitored, followed, and fined many practitioners since July 20, 1999. They sent three practitioners to forced labor camps and persecuted three practitioners at a brainwashing center. All practitioners were fined between 5,000 and 30,000 yuan. They also restricted the practitioners' freedom, even after their imprisonment term had expired. They forced practitioners to report to the village committee daily. Practitioners' fundamental human rights were deprived.

26. [Qufu City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Someone reported practitioners Ms. Meng Lizhi, Ms. Yan Jingyun, Mr. Zhang Xi and Hu from Fangshan Township, Qufu City when they were distributing truth-clarification materials in Yingli Village, Sishui County on February 27, 2007. Personnel from the National Security Team of the Sishui City Police Department arrested them on the same day. Later on, officers ransacked the practitioners' homes. The practitioners are presently being held at the Sishui City Police Department Detention Center. No family visits have been permitted so far.

Police officers arrested practitioner Mr. Liu Chengji and his wife Ms. Xing Ximei from Yanlu Village, Andi Town, Yinan County on March 2, 2007 and took them to the Yinan County Detention Center.

About thirty armed personnel from Wenling City suddenly surrounded practitioners who were working at a truth-clarification materials production center on March 14. They arrested all practitioners and other workers and detained several practitioners including Mr. Han Ping and Mr. Zhao Linbin. The materials center was completely destroyed.

They took her to the Wuhan City Brainwashing Center for persecution.

Practitioner Mr. Zhao Aijun from Shihezi City, Xinjiang AR was recently sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment. He was sent into a prison in Wulumuqi City on March 5, 2007. His family was not notified before the sentence.

Practitioner Ms. Zhu Mulan from Haikou Town, Kunming City was reported when she was distributing truth-clarification materials at a local fair on March 13, 2007. Personnel from the local police station and the city's National Security Division arrested her.

36. [Chongqing] Practitioners Zhang Zhifen and Pi Zhong Sentenced to Forced Labor

Practitioners Ms. Zhang Zhifen and Ms. Pi Zhong were reported when they were posting truth-clarification materials in Putao Street, Heyang Town, the Hechuan District, Chongqing. Personnel from the city's 610 Office took them to the Hechuan District Detention Center. Police officers forced them to tell whom they had contacted and where they had obtained the materials. The two practitioners staged a hunger strike to protest the persecution. Personnel from the 610 Office didn't learn anything and sentenced the practitioners to one and a half years of forced labor. They later transferred the two practitioners to the Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp on February 18, 2007.

Ms. Zhang Zhifen, around 50, a retired worker of the Chongqing No. 4 Cotton Factory, was sentenced to one year of forced labor. Police officers often persecuted her.

Police officers often persecuted Ms. Pi Zhong, in her 50s, from Heyang Town, Hechuan District. She was sentenced to forced labor. Her husband divorced her because he could not bear all the persecution.

37. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Zhou Yanfang Arrested

Police officers broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Zhou Yanfang, age 40. They arrested her, ransacked the place and confiscated many books and materials at 9:00 a.m. on March 15, 2007. She is presently being held at the Zhanjiang City Legal System Education School.

Police officers ransacked practitioner Ms. Zhuang Huaxian's home in the Xiashan District on March 8, 2007. They confiscated Master's picture, a copy of Zhuan Falun and a few exercises tapes, but did not arrest her.

Practitioner Ms. Ding Genmei, over 70, lives on the first floor of the Jiefang Gongyuan Road Dorm in Yongqing Street, Jiangan District. Policemen arrested her from her home in February 2007 and confiscated a computer, a printer and some other items. They took her to the Dongxihu District Erzhigou No. 1 Women's Detention Center. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

Police officers arrested practitioners Mr. Wen Jianrong and his wife Ms. Cao Shufang, a retired couple from the Liangping County Experimental Middle School in Chongqing City, on March 16, 2007.

Practitioner Ms. Zou Jinying, about 60, is a doctor working for the Guizhou Province Aluminum Factory. Personnel from the Baiyun District Hongshan Police Station in Guiyang City arrested her on March 9, 2004 and sentenced her to three years of forced labor. After the detention term expired, she was directly sent to the Lannigou Brainwashing Center for further persecution because she refused to give up her belief in Falun Dafa.

Personnel from the Shaowu City National Security Division arrested new practitioner Ms. Zhu Jinhua when she was clarifying the truth before the Chinese New Year. She is presently being held at the Shaowu City Detention Center.

Practitioner Ms. Wei Jianyu is still being held at the Shaowu City Detention Center even though her detention term has already expired.

Seven or eight officers from the Political and Security Team from the Zhulu County Police Department, the Zhulu Town Government and the Zhulu Town Police Department broke into practitioner Ms. Zhang Shuzhen's home, arrested her and ransacked the place on the afternoon of March 13, 2007. It is unknown where Ms. Zhang Shuzhen is being held.
