According to reliable sources, personnel from the Hanyang District Qinduankou Prison's No. 10 Team beat a practitioner to death on March 10, 2007. Two practitioners were in the team: Mr. Xie Yonggang and Mr. Wang Zhichao.

It's said that a telephone call duped practitioner Ms. Chen Fengmei into leaving home at 7:00 p.m. around March 6, 2007. She was arrested right after she went out. Her home was ransacked immediately after. The reason for the persecution may have been that authorities found some Falun Dafa materials. They even seized her non-practitioner husband. It is said her husband's employer has recently bailed him out.

More than 30 policemen from the Taizhou City 610 Office surrounded Han Ping and Yue Linbin's factory. They arrested practitioner factory employees Ms. Huang Honghui, Mr. Deng Kunhe, Mr. Guo Xiaobo and Mr. Li Tianweng.

Surveillance cameras photographed two practitioners from Daozhen County (Daozhen Autonomous County of the Gelao and Miao Nationality) while the two were distributing Falun Dafa truth-clarifying materials in the county at the beginning of July 2006. They were later arrested and their homes ransacked. Practitioner Mr. Chuan Qiang was sentenced to four years of imprisonment and Mr. Tu Jian to three years. Practitioner Ms. Wang Shujun went to the police station to request her non-practitioner husband's release, but she was arrested and sentenced to one and a-half years of forced labor.

Chuan Qiang and Tu Jian are being held at the Duyun Prison. Wang Shujun is being held at the Guizhou Province Women's Forced Labor Camp.

Someone reported practitioners Ms. Chen Dongxian and Ms. Wang Xiaoqin from Xiaochi Town, Huangmei County in the Huanggang District when the two practitioners were clarifying the truth in Shuiyue Village, Xiaochi Town, at 4:00 p.m. on March 24, 2007. Later on personnel from the town's police department arrested them and put them in the police department.

Practitioner Ms. Liao Fengzhu from Nanping City, in her 70s, was arrested on March 23, 2007, when she distributed truth-clarifying materials.

Policemen headed by Yue Jiangmin from Changji City, the Xinjiang Autonomous Region, arrested 13 practitioners between March and June 2006. Police transferred all the practitioners' cases to the city's intermediate court in August 2006. Nine practitioners were prosecuted in October, including Ms. Yu Yuejuan; Ms. Zhao Xuemei; Ms. Yang Yingjie; Ms. Zheng Xinxiu; four sisters--Ms. Zhang Xiuzhen, Ms. Zhang Yanping, Ms. Zhang Yanyun and Ms. Zhang Yanlin; and Ms. Zhang Xiuzhen's son, Mr. Li Gang. Mr. Li Gang has been held till now only because he had downloaded some truth-clarifying materials and made some CDs for his mother. The court agents opened a trial for the nine practitioners but did not reach a verdict. All the practitioners are still being held at the city's detention center.

Four officers, including Yue Jiangmin and Huang Tai from the National Security Team of the Changji City Police Department, broke into practitioner Mr. Tao Zhonglin's home and ransacked it. They arrested Mr. Tao the next day and put him into the city's detention center where he remains.

Six policemen broke into a practitioner's home and ransacked the place at 10:00 p.m. on March 20, 2007. They found five Falun Gong books and two of Master's pictures. Just then the practitioner's son returned home, spoke with them assertively, and stopped their illegal search.

Practitioners Ms. Yang Liming and Mr. Tang Qizhe, employed at the Xupu County Dajiangkou Nylon Factory, were arrested on March 22, 2007 when they clarified the truth about Falun Gong in the factory. They have been put into the county's detention center.

Personnel from the Tiexi District Police Department arrested practitioners Ms. Zhang Ke, Ms. Wang Fenghuan, Ms. Han Ying, and Shan living on No.12 Street, the Tiexi District, Shenyang City, on March 24, 2007. A Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials site was also damaged.

Four practitioners including Mr. Liu Wanxiang and his wife, Ms. Liu Yulan, from Dawa County, Panjin City, went to the city's No.1 People's Hospital. They had gone there to help practitioner Mr. Wang Fuxing, who had been tortured so severely that he was in critical condition. He has been under emergency care since March 15, 2007. The police followed the practitioners to their homes on March 24, 2007. Personnel headed by the National Security Team deputy chief Fu Zhenguo in the county's police department went to the practitioners' homes, arrested them, and ransacked their places. The four practitioners are presently being held at the county's detention center.

Practitioners Liu Wanxiang and his wife Ms. Liu Yulan, both 50 years old, have been to Beijing several times to clarify the truth. They were sentenced to three and a half years of imprisonment. Their determination to practice Dafa has never altered.

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Kun, 50 years old, has been to Beijing to clarify the truth and been arrested. She has always been determined to continue Falun Dafa cultivation practice.

Ms. Guo has been strict with herself in Falun Dafa practice.

Practitioner Mr. Li Yanzeng, 48 years old, from the Hexi District, is a former employee of the Shenyang City Zhongda Shopping Mall. He began to practice Falun Gong in 1995. The Dongling District Court agents in Shenyang City sentenced him to nine years of imprisonment for clarifying the truth of Falun Gong. He is presently being held at the No. 2 Prison in the city's prison complex. Mr. Li has been tortured in a small cell in the prison for 100 days because he wanted to do the Falun Gong exercises in prison.

Personnel from the Tixuqi Police Station National Security Team and from the Qilu Police Station arrested 40-year-old practitioner Ms. Ye Changli and ransacked her home at 10:00 p.m. on March 13, 2007.

Another batch of policemen went to the home of Ms. Ye's brother, Sanye, in an attempt to arrest him. When police knocked on the door, Mr. Ye's child saw they were policemen and told them he/she would not open the door because his/her parents were not home. Mr. Ye chose to live in exile afterwards.

Personnel from the Tiexi District No.12 Street Police Precinct, the district's National Security Team, and the local community office arrested practitioner Mr. Zhang Ke and his wife on the morning of March 24, 2007.

18. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Offices Zhao Zhi, Miao Xin and others from the Erdao District Police Department broke into and ransacked the homes of practitioners Mr. Du Xuege and Ms. Du Xiukun on the evening of March 22, 2007. They arrested Mr. Du Xuege's wife, Ms. Wang Xin, Ms. Du Xiufen and Ms. Zhu Jinfeng and sent the three ladies to the Weizigou Detention Center.

The satellite village party secretary Leng Haihe from Yingjun Town in the Erdao District and other officers broke into other practitioners' homes the next day. Those practitioners chose to live in exile to avoid illegal arrest.

22. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Five officers including Fu Zhenguo from the Dawa County National Security Team ransacked the homes of practitioners Ms. Guo Bo, Mr. Liu Wanxiang, and Mr. Zhang Kun the morning of March 24, 2007. They arrested Ms. Guo and her husband, Mr. Cong Lin (a non practitioner), as well as Mr. Zhang and Mr. Liu and his wife and then put them in the county's detention center.

In addition, Ms. Zhao Hui, in her 40s, was reported and arrested when she was clarifying the truth in Panjin City the afternoon of March 23, 2007.

Personnel from the Wu'an City Police Department Vice Squad Team arrested four practitioners, including Ms. Lu Guoxia, Ms. Zhang Gaiye, Mr. Li Haiqi and one other practitioner the night on March 21, 2007. The arrest happened when the practitioners were distributing truth clarification materials. They are currently being held at the city's detention center.

Police officer Jin Qingman found practitioner Ms. Yang Yucui, an employee of the Tanggu District Bohai Oil Company in Tianjin, when she was distributing Dafa truth clarification materials on March 8, 2007. He dragged her to a police station. He then transferred her to the district's detention center. Ms. Yang has been sentenced to 18 months of forced labor.

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Mengyun, about 40 years old, from the Zhongzhou Resident Community in Jiaozuo City, had been sent to a detention center twice. She had been harassed many times. Ms. Zhang was arrested recently again. Another practitioner, surnamed Chu, from the Pingguang Residential Community, was arrested at the same time.

Meng Xiangui, a police officer from the Guyuan County 610 Office received a report and then arrested two practitioners. It happened because they were clarifying the truth and persuading people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates on March 18, 2007. One of the arrested practitioners jumped from the second floor of the police department building and walked away. The other practitioner was released with the power of righteous thoughts.

Personnel from the Rizhao City 610 Office broke into practitioner Mr. Mai Dazhi's home and confiscated his computer, a printer and some Dafa materials. They arrested Mr. Mai on March 19, 2007. Mr. Mai's whereabouts are still unknown.

It was reported recently that personnel from the Zichuan District Prosecuting Department returned practitioner Mr. Fan Jianguo's case (Mr. Fan was illegally tried a while ago) to the district's police department. They requested further information regarding the source of equipment for a Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials center. Mr. Fan is still being held in the district's detention center.

Practitioners Mr. Wang Silong, Ms. Gao Tongxiu, Mr. Leng Jingtong and Mr. Luo Shiliang from Shangao County, Jiangxi Province, went to Nanchang City from Gaoan County for an experience-sharing meeting on March 10, 2007. Police tracked them to the city's Bayi Park. Personnel from the city's Donghong Police Station arrested them when the practitioners were on their way home. They are presently being held at the Xishan No. 1 Detention Center.

Policemen from Gaoan County illegally searched Mr. Wang's home on March 10. 2007. Mr. Wang's wife, Ms. Deng Yuying, was immediately sent to the Liantan Forced Labor Camp in Gaoan County. The officials did this without following any legal procedures.

Practitioner Mr. Cao Dong was arrested after clarifying the truth of Falun Gong to the vice president of the European Parliament. He is presently being held at the Lanzhou City National Security Detention Center in Gansu Province. Gansu Province Court agents sentenced him to five years of imprisonment. He is appealing and has hired a lawyer.

Personnel from the Gaobeidian 610 Office and from the Beicheng Police Station have harassed and persecuted a practitioner many times since July 20, 1999. The practitioner went to Beijing to appeal on July 20, 1999. Officers from the Fuyou Street Police Precinct took him to the Fengtai District Gymnasium, arrested him, and held him there for one day, and then transferred him to Baoding City the next day. Personnel from the Gaobeidian Police Station eventually sent him back to the Beicheng Police Station where he was held for two days. He was forbidden to eat or drink during the detention. Police monitored him when he used the restroom.

Gaobeidian 610 Office personnel colluded with officers from the Beicheng Police Station. They went to the practitioner's workplace and arrested him again in November 2000. They detained him at a shooting range for 12 days. They ransacked his home and confiscated three Dafa books. Police tortured him ruthlessly and interrogated him during detention. Policemen Zhao Guanghua and Li Jianguo beat the practitioner with rubber batons and a wooden stool so he sustained severe bruises. His severely swollen legs prevented him from walking. Policemen forced him to run daily and stand like a soldier. The officers beat those old practitioners who couldn't run fast.

The shooting range's 610 Office director, Zhao Kejun, extorted 4,300 yuan from the practitioner. Gaobeidian 610 Office personnel have harassed and monitored the practitioner's family many times since April 2006, so the practitioner chose to live in exile for two months in order to avoid "illegal arrest.
