How the Elderly Mr. Zhang Learned the Fa

The elderly Mr. Zhang always liked talking and making jokes. One day a practitioner clarified the truth to him about Falun Gong. Mr. Zhang said, "Sister, please be careful. Do you know what my wife does? She's especially in charge of the Falun Gong issue. You are getting political."

The practitioner said, "What is getting political? You have to allow us to speak out in this unfair situation. If speaking out is getting political, the word 'political' is just a stick for beating other people. In all past political movements, the CCP has incited the masses to fight each other. Weren't all of these activities wrong? Weren't those people who were suppressed and criticized all 'rehabilitated' later? Actually, the people who suffered the most were the common people. If you can cultivate to be a good person according to the principles of Falun Gong, you will have good health without spending a penny. Isn't this bringing good fortune to yourself and your family? The CCP doesn't allow you to practice Falun Gong, but who suffers for you when you get sick? We improved our moral standards and got healthy bodies. If we just stayed at home to do the exercises when our Master is being slandered, we would not be qualified to be human beings, not to mention cultivating 'Truth-Compassion-Forbearance.'"

As he listened, Mr. Zhang nodded and said, "Then please lend me your book to read."

The next day, she brought a copy of Zhuan Falun to Mr. Zhang. After three days, Mr. Zhang did not go to work. The practitioner worried about him and asked other people about him and learned that Mr. Zhang was hospitalized with stomach cancer. Mr. Zhang went back home after only half a month, because he could not pay for the treatment.

The practitioner visited him at his home and told him that because of his faith in Dafa, Master cleaned up his body. She said, "Do not recognize it as an illness; it is eliminating karma."

Mr. Zhang understood and quit the CCP organizations. He studied the Fa and did the exercises at home. When she saw him after a month, Mr. Zhang had a rosy complexion and was without any illness. He grabbed her hands and said, "Thank you! Thank you!"

His wife also understood the truth of Falun Gong and she, herself, started to actively protect Dafa disciples.
