United Kingdom: Raising Awareness in Woking about Falun Gong and the Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) On Saturday April 7 near the town market in Woking, a group of Falun Gong practitioners gathered together to call attention to the persecution of their spiritual practice in China.

Passersby stopped at our display and expressed their sorrow and sympathy after they learned the facts about the persecution that has been going on for almost eight years.

People asked if it was really true, as they simply could not believe that such things could be happening these days. Some people also expressed their support for us. A few footballers stopped by and enjoyed imitating practitioners' movements along with the calm music. Although expecting it to be a kind of martial arts, after telling them that for doing these exercises people are being killed in China, each young footballer took a flyer before going to watch the Woking football team conference match.

We handed out more than a thousand flyers, which means that more than a thousand people had a chance to learn the facts about the wicked persecution. The more people who know about the persecution, the more likely it will come to an end soon.
