My Understandings from Constantly Clarifying the Truth

(Clearwisdom.net) Validating Falun Dafa and saving sentient beings are
the historic missions of a Falun Dafa practitioner. Teacher taught us the Great
Fa of the cosmos and paved the way for us to ascend to Heaven. However, we have
to steadily and firmly climb up the ladder, and only then will we reach a stable
state. Our lives will reach the level to which we cultivate. "One's gong
level is as high as one's xinxing level, and this is an absolute truth."
("Lecture One" from Zhuan Falun, English translation version
2000). Beings in the new universe are selfless and consider others first. The
real purpose of clarifying the wonderful truth of Falun Dafa to people is to
save sentient beings. This behavior conforms to the principles of the new
cosmos, and the process of doing this is the process through which we meet the
standards of different levels of beings in the cosmos. It is a process of
ascending and the actual path to return home. Clarifying the truth of Falun Gong face to face with people is
the main form I have utilized. I share the beauty of Falun Dafa with people,
sprinkling Dafa's morning dew or manna in the human world. I have walked the
past years in this manner. Sometimes when I got busy with the household chores,
the truth-clarification was held up. This would later make me regretful for not
doing this important task. So I made a rule that I would clarify the truth every
day, even if to only one person that day. I clarify the truth regularly and daily to keep myself in a constant state of
validating Falun Dafa, following the process of Teacher's Fa-rectification and
playing the role of saving sentient beings as a Falun Dafa practitioner. This
process is very important. Since the spread of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party
and persuading people to quit the CCP and its related organizations, the
requirement has increased. The great compassion and tolerance of Falun Dafa
practitioners is manifested in the process of persuading Chinese people to quit
the CCP and related organizations. While doing this I was repeatedly rejected by
my relatives, who did not understand. I was very upset, and after I calmed down
I continued to do it with a Dafa practitioner's benevolence of saving sentient
beings. I kept reminding myself not to become depressed and frustrated, and that
I needed to keep clarifying the truth and validating the Fa as usual. Later I obtained truth-clarifying materials from a fellow practitioner and we
distributed them at a place ten miles away. We walked back and forth for at
least twenty miles. During the process of distributing the materials and
clarifying the truth, I felt that persevering in clarifying the truth and
distributing the materials was really helpful in improving my xinxing.
This improvement in xinxing would help me to persist in clarifying the
truth daily. Whether I was busy or free, in summer or winter, even during
holidays, I continuously clarified the truth to people. I started working to meet more people. As a result I got to know a lot of
people and I clarified the truth to them. I was very anxious when I realized
that many people in the countryside did not know the truth about Falun Dafa. We
discussed among ourselves the best ways to clarify the truth there even though
it was about fifty kilometers (31 miles) away. I knew that I must always fortify
myself with righteous thoughts when clarifying the truth. If I ever slacked off,
I immediately corrected myself. Although I did not achieve heroic and grand
feats, any tiny behavior or action can reflect the true nature of a
practitioner. With the protection of Teacher, I clearly and wisely clarified
Falun Dafa's beauty to people, allowing sentient beings to be saved with
compassion and benevolence. I diligently did the three things that a
Falun Dafa practitioner should do. I persisted in clarifying the truth and eliminating my attachments. Sometimes
when I clarified the truth, people did not understand and I argued with them and
exposed the demon-nature within myself. This was due to my fear and my inability
to clarify the truth thoroughly in the new environment. Such attachments are
very well concealed and they only get exposed in the process of
truth-clarification. I gradually eliminated them and thus improved my xinxing. March 11, 2007 |
