Additional Information about How Zhao Wenpeng Was Savagely Persecuted to Death by the Guiyang Public Security Hospital

(Clearwisdom.net) On October 21, 2006 and July 17, 2007, Clearwisdom.net reported about how Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhao Wenpeng from Guiyang was illegally arrested and later persecuted to death by the Guiyang Public Security Hospital. Below are some additional details regarding how Zhao Wenpeng was savagely persecuted to death by the Guiyang Public Security Hospital.

On the afternoon of August 9, 2006, the union chairperson of the Guiyang Post and Telecommunication Equipment Factory, Liu Shuzhi (female), led a group of people to Zhao Wenpeng's home, where they threatened and intimidated him not to practice Falun Gong and to stop clarifying the facts about Falun Gong. Zhao Wenpeng told them the facts about Falun Gong out of compassion, but they not only refused to listen to the truth, they also called the police at the Guiyang Weiqing Road Local Police Station. The police searched Zhao Wenpeng's house and confiscated his Falun Dafa books, materials, computer equipment, and other items. Zhao Wenpeng was "illegally arrested" and taken to the police station. On August 10, Mr. Zhao was taken to the Guiyang Yunyan District Detention Center.

Zhao Wenpeng was subjected to various forms of physical torture by the guards in the detention center. By December 3, after three months and twenty-four days of being illegally detained and tortured at the detention center, Zhao Wenpeng's whole body was swollen. On the outside of his left thigh there was a large festering hole that continuously dripped pus. At this time he was transferred to the Guiyang Public Security Hospital (also called the Guiyang Judicial Armed Police Hospital) to be further persecuted. Zhao Wenpeng died on March 7, 2007. He was 41 years old.

A healthy person was tortured to death after being arrested and persecuted for seven months and two days.
