Official Admits Witnessing Approximately Six Persecution Deaths of Falun Gong Practitioners at the Zibo Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province
(Clearwisdom.net) According to information provided by a team leader at
Zibo Forced Labor Camp, the labor camp had put clothes on five or six deceased
Falun Gong practitioners who died from being persecuted. The following contains
information about the practitioners who were persecuted at the labor camp. We
hope that people from all over the world will pay attention to this incident,
and help stop this evil persecution. The Men's No. 2 Camp has two regular divisions that have detained Dafa
practitioners (Division 7 and Division 8). Each division holds 110 to 120
detainees. Each division has a "strictly controlled team" gathering
practitioners who refuse to be reformed. The practitioners in that team have to
sit motionless, from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., a total of 18 hours per day.
Criminal detainees monitor them. If one wants to use the bathroom he has to
report, ask for permission and then go, after permission is granted. The
practitioners were often beaten and also experienced verbal abuse. Criminal
detainees once beat Fen Deshai, a 60-year-old practitioner, so severely that
some of his teeth fell out. However, those criminals who beat him denied it. For those who firmly believe in Dafa and those who have issued a solemn
statement, police use handcuffs to lock them to their beds until midnight, when
they are allowed to wash themselves and go to bed. They are forced to wake up at
3:00 a.m. in the summer, 5:00 a.m. in the winter. They are under close watch
around the clock and are subjected to intense verbal abuse. According to the law, the labor camp should require detainees to labor for no
more than 30 to 36 hours per week. However, the camp not only doesn't follow the
law, but also arranges labor work of 10-12 hours per day (from 5:00 a.m. to
12:00 noon, and 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.). In addition, in the evening, the usual
resting time, the labor camp often arranges meetings. Detainees do not have
enough time to rest. The practitioners have brought this up to the camp leaders
several times, but they do not listen, and instead make threats against the
practitioners. The Judiciary Department has a rule that there be no labor on
holidays, but the camp leaders sometime disobey the rule. Sometimes the
practitioners have holidays off but the labor camp requires work on the weekends
to compensate for those days. There is a clinic at the labor camp for treating detainees who are sick, but
the clinics does not have the proper equipment for anything other than measuring
blood pressure, and some generic drugs for common colds. The labor camp does not
allow seriously ill people to seek treatment at outside hospitals. In March
2006, one person was sick for a long time and was not allowed to go to the
hospital. He ended being carried by several people to the clinic for some
medication, and he died few days later. At Division 7, there is a practitioner named Liang Shuxin, who in his
twenties. Mr. Liang firmly believes in Dafa and refuses to be
"reformed." As a result, he was forced to sit on a wooden stool daily
until he was no longer able to sit. He has now lost feeling in his lower body,
and requires help when using the bathroom. He nonetheless still remains in the
strictly controlled team. He is bedridden, and the labor camp does not allow him
to receive medical care outside the camp. Another practitioner, Mr. Xia Bingxuan,
experiences dizziness due to hypertension, and must lean against the wall while
walking. He also remains in the strictly controlled team. Sun Nan, a team leader, said that since the persecution began in 1999, he has
put clothes on five to six dead practitioners' bodies. Here is the list of police officials who were directly involved in the
persecution in Division 7: Posting date: 4/24/2007 |
