By a Falun Dafa practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) Three notable incidents have occurred among practitioners in our region since July 2006. The results of the three incidents were different. I hope that practitioners can see their shortcomings through the three different incidents so that we can start from our current positions and improve together.

The first incident happened in late August. Four practitioners went to the countryside to clarify the truth and help people with the "three withdrawals" (withdrawing from Chinese Communist Party, the Communist Young Pioneers and the Communist Youth League). They were caught by the police and taken to the local police station. One of them was later able to escape. The other three maintained very strong righteous thoughts whether they were in the police station, National Security Department or in detention. They did not regard the persecution as the persecution of people against people. They maintained that they were not there to endure persecution by the old forces, and that no one has the right to persecute Dafa practitioners on their paths of Fa-rectification. No one has the right to rearrange their cultivation paths. There must be people to be saved here. So they were there to save sentient beings. Therefore, they gave no thought to fear, but clarified the truth, sent righteous thoughts, and saved sentient beings by presenting them with the true facts. They helped the police and detainees to do the "three withdrawals," with compassionate hearts cultivated in the righteous Fa.

In the meantime, the escaped practitioner brought news of their illegal arrest quickly to their families and all the practitioners in the region. Through Master's arrangement, a family member of one of the three arrested practitioners was able to find out where they were detained. This enabled practitioners from the entire region to concentrate on this specific target when sending forth righteous thoughts. They also asked for Teacher's help. The strong righteous thoughts of all the practitioners together constantly cleared away the arrangements of old forces and eliminated the evil specters and rotten ghosts in other dimensions. The righteous energy grew stronger and stronger, whilst the evil's resistance became weaker and weaker, until they were completely eliminated.

The three practitioners were released only five days after their arrest. When arrested they had materials and DVDs of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party in their hands. This is usually considered "hard evidence" that police use to punish practitioners with heavy sentences, however, it did not happen. Just as described in Teacher's poem,

"When disciples have sufficient righteous thoughts, master has the almighty power to turn the cosmos around." ("Gratitude of Master and Disciples" from Hong Yin II)

It also manifested the power of Dafa practitioners' united righteous thoughts.

The second incident happened in October. When she was clarifying the facts, an older female practitioner was reported, then arrested and taken to the local detention center. There were no other practitioners around when she was arrested. Therefore, practitioners in the region knew nothing of her arrest. Additionally, her family failed to notify practitioners. It was not until one week later that practitioners found out about her arrest. As a result, the best time for eliminating the evil and rescuing her had passed. Her family tried to rescue her, but were ordered to hand over a penalty fine of 10,000 yuan and then an additional 5,000 yuan. In the end, her family paid 2,000 yuan, and the police agreed to release her. However, on the ninth day of her arrest, before she was released, the practitioner suddenly showed symptoms of hemiplegia (paralysis on one side of the body) and a bad headache. Her family took her to directly to the hospital, and she stayed there for two months.

Because of what happened her family developed misunderstandings towards Dafa. This was due to not only personal issues, but also the overall lack of righteous thoughts in our region. Some practitioners didn't realize that the three practitioners were released due to Teacher's compassionate caring and Dafa practitioner's united righteous thoughts. Instead, they developed a human understanding of the event. They thought that it was because the cultivation environment of our region had become relaxed. Many police officers and people in the area had already learned the truth and no longer persecuted Dafa practitioners. The practitioners didn't use clear minds to see that the reason why the practitioner showed symptoms of illness was because the old forces and rotten ghosts were taking advantage of her attachments to persecute her. They failed to realize that this was also persecution of the practitioners as a whole body. Therefore, they relaxed their efforts to eliminate the evil together as one body. This provided an excuse for the old forces to persecute Dafa, Dafa practitioners, and the world's people.

The third incident happened in December. While clarifying the facts, another practitioner was reported, arrested, and taken to the local detention center. More than three months has passed since. It was said that the evil would give him a criminal sentence. Some practitioners tried to contact a government official. It was said that this official understood the facts and had helped to rescue many arrested practitioners in the past. However, this time he refused to see any practitioners. Teacher has repeatedly taught us that it is we who are saving sentient beings, eliminating the evil, and helping Teacher with the Fa-rectification, and that we are the only hope for the salivation of the world's people. How could we place our hope of rescuing the persecuted practitioners in an everyday person and forget about the responsibilities we should shoulder? Haven't we placed ourselves below humans?

Three incidents, three different results. We should immediately improve our xinxing from within the Fa. Master is waiting for our improvement. We shouldn't try to resolve a problem at the surface level. Everything comes from our xinxing and our righteous understanding of the Fa.
