By a practitioner from Washington State
(Clearwisdom.net) When the daffodils blossom in April its time for
Washington Falun Gong practitioners to prepare for the yearly Daffodil Festival,
which spans four cities in southern Washington state. This is the fifth year
that practitioners have been invited to the parades in the cities of Tacoma,
Puyallup, Sumner, and Orting. Practitioners' colorful procession is very popular Amongst the bright daffodils, the lotus float was exceptionally
eye-catching. Wherever the procession of practitioners passed by, the audience
applauded and kids were excited, screaming and shouting joyfully. Many onlookers
nodded and applauded, and someone even shouted out "Pretty! The best
float!" and "Look, lion's here!" and "China!" The
organizer told the practitioners, "Thanks for coming to our city!" The parade was broadcast live on TV. The parade host introduced to the
audience that Falun Dafa is based on
"Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," and has spread world-wide.
The lotus blossom float in the Daffodil Festival parades has become a scene that
people from Washington state look forward to seeing every year.
