Germany: Practitioners Hold a Protest in Front of the Chinese Consulate in Munich to Mark the April 25 Appeal (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On April 25, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners from Munich and surrounding areas held an activity in front of the Chinese Consulate in Munich to protest against the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong and to mark the 8th anniversary of the "April 25" Appeal.

On April 25 eight years ago, over ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners went to the State Council Appeals Office to conduct a peaceful appeal. The international society was deeply impressed by Falun Gong practitioners' rationality, creditability, self-discipline and their high standard of morality. This was the beginning of Falun Gong practitioners' anti-persecution campaign and large-scale peaceful appeals. Falun Gong practitioners' sincerity, kindness, and tolerance left a permanent historic record. On July 20 of the same year, Jiang Zemin and his regime suddenly launched a comprehensive suppression of Falun Gong, employing the entire mass media to slander Falun Gong, and manipulating the whole state machine to conduct a prolonged persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

Outside the Chinese Consulate in Munich, practitioners displayed banners reading, "Commemorating the Eternal April 25th Appeal," "the CCP Harvests Organs from Living Falun Gong Practitioners," and "Supporting the 20 Million Withdrawals from the CCP," to inform people of the CCP's brutal persecution of Falun Gong, as well as the unstoppable tide of people quitting the CCP.

Having learned the facts of the CCP's organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, a German woman immediately signed her name to condemn this inhuman conduct. She said that we must do something to urge the German government to speak out against it. She requested more informational materials to distribute to her friends.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Huiqin Pan and her son participated in the April 25 Appeal in 1999. She recalled the situation, saying that after the morning exercises, she was informed that several dozen Dafa practitioners had been arrested in Tianjin and everyone thought that practitioners should appeal to the central government. At about 10 o'clock in the morning, they arrived near the State Council Appeals Office. Everybody stood in line on Fuyou Street near the Appeals Office. Everybody was standing on the pavement patiently waiting for the result of the appeal. Practitioners dismissed quietly after the problem was solved. After July 20, the CCP fabricated a lie and said that Falun Gong practitioners had besieged Zhongnanhai (the location of the central government office). Ms. Pan said that this is absolute nonsense. The CCP had video-recorded the whole process of the appeal, but it does not dare to let people see the footage.Asked how it felt for her to participate in this protest activity, Ms Pan said, "I feel that the situation is too horrible in mainland China. The CCP does not allow good persons to exist. Falun Gong is so righteous, so the CCP is afraid of, it is actually afraid, of the principle of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance. If everybody followed this principle, then the CCP's Falseness, Evilness and Violence could not hide any more. This is the reason why the CCP is afraid of Falun Gong and persecutes it by all means. When I was in mainland China, I was homeless for two years in order to avoid being put into a brainwashing center. I escaped to Germany in 2004. I treasure every single opportunity to protest against the persecution and express our voice freely, because it is not possible to do this publicly in China."
