(Clearwisdom.net) On April 25 eight years ago, over ten thousand Falun
Gong practitioners went to the State Council Appeals Office near Zhongnanhai,
the central government compound in Beijing, to clarify the situation to the
state leaders about interference and unfair treatment to Falun Gong, and the
illegal arrest of practitioners by the Public Security Bureau in Tianjin. This
event aroused international attention and the overseas media reported on it
widely. The Chinese Premier had a meeting with several representatives of the
Falun Gong practitioners, and through this direct communication, the problem was
resolved satisfactorily. Throughout the whole process of the appeal, the Falun
Gong practitioners manifested peacefulness, rationality and kindness, which
received the admiration of international society. Falun Gong practitioners commemorate the April 25 Appeal in
front of the Chinese Embassy However, the April 25 Appeal has been taken as an excuse to launch the
nationwide persecution of Falun Gong by Jiang Zemin, the head of the Chinese
Communist Party (CCP). Jiang and the CCP slandered the practitioners' peaceful
appeal as "besieging Zhongnanhai," and mobilized the whole
state-controlled media to defame Falun Gong, flooding China and the whole world
with lies. For a while, many people, deceived by the lies, also believed that
the April 25 Appeal was the cause of the persecution. On July 20, 1999, the evil CCP and its head Jiang Zemin launched the
unprecedented persecution against Falun Gong practitioners who believe in
"Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." During the course of Falun
Gong practitioners' anti-persecution efforts and truth-clarification
over the past eight years, the facts of the April 25 Appeal have often become
one of the key points for people to understand the truth of this evil
persecution. On April 25, over ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners spontaneously and
peacefully gathered at the State Council Appeals Office of the Chinese central
government to remind the government that Falun Gong practitioners should have
the right to freedom of belief, freedom to gather and freedom of speech -
rights that have been written into the Chinese Constitution. That day can be
regarded as a milestone in Falun Gong practitioner's anti-persecution efforts
and truth-clarification. On that day, Falun Gong practitioners started the
indomitable great journey of exposing the evil and arousing the conscience of
the world's people. After the eight-year battle between justice and evil, the
CCP is now facing the fate of complete disintegration and destruction, the
result of their persecution against just belief. In order to commemorate this special day, around 10:00 a.m. on April 25,
2007, Danish Falun Gong practitioners gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy
to protest against the persecution of Falun Gong. Practitioners from different
areas came to support this activity, including an 80-year-old retired Danish
citizen, Mr. Bauer, who has come to the Chinese Embassy to protest every day for
the past five years, no matter how chilly the winter and regardless of the wind
and snow. Other practitioners who joined the April 25 event included business
people, university students, and others from many different walks of life. Danish Falun Gong practitioners have persisted in clarifying the facts in
front of the Chinese Embassy every day for the last five years. They use various
means to clarify the truth to the embassy staff and passers-by. This
uninterrupted effort of exposing the evil and clarifying the truth has received
many people's admiration and support. Along with the CCP's evil nature being
exposed to the world's people, now not only western people often show their
support to Dafa practitioners, but also Chinese people have dared to come
forward to read the display boards and truth-clarification pictures, receive
truth-clarification materials and some have even quit the CCP on the spot. The Danish Dafa practitioners indicated that the daily protest in front of
the Chinese Embassy will continue until the day the persecution is ended.
