Cultivating Falun Dafa Brings Miracles

My wife is a Falun Dafa practitioner and often told me how wonderful Dafa is, but I had doubts.

We live on a small hill surrounded on three sides by mountains covered with weeds. They are a fire hazard. The area is a favorite ancestor worship site. We have opened a small restaurant a half-mile away from our house. Business is fairly good, which keeps us occupied. When we leave home for work we place a lock on the door. Whenever memorial days rolled around, I worried that people who paid their respects to their ancestors' tombs might cause a fire when burning their incense. What I had feared actually occurred last year. Neighbors rushed to our restaurant one day and told us there was a fire near our house. When I got there, the whole hill was ablaze. I tried hard to put the fire out, but I couldn't. What was more, the fire was threatening our house.

I suddenly recalled what my wife had said to me over and over again. I started shouting, "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good! Master, please help us!" As soon as I had said these words, the fire changed direction and started moving away from me. I was safe and my house was safe! From that moment on I have believed in Dafa. I am grateful to Dafa and Master for saving my life.

A second wildfire occurred during another memorial event. When we got home, we noticed the ashes the now extinguished fire had left behind. I looked around and saw that the fire had come within inches of our house and then stopped. The house was not burned, but the fire had burned the weeds around it. Once more I witnessed Dafa's divine powers. Dafa cultivation creates miracles.

My wife is a Dafa practitioner. It is difficult for me to understand how "when one person practices a righteous way, the whole family benefits," but I have experienced it. Through my wife's Fa rectification efforts I started reading Zhuan Falun and I know the real reason why the CCP persecutes Dafa, but I was so fearful and would not study on a regular basis. Sometimes I do help other practitioners. Simply because I did a few good things for Dafa, a tumor in my body disappeared on its own.

One day a three-wheeled motorcycle hit me and I landed on the ground. The front wheel smashed into me, from my feet up to my hip. The driver was a woman. She was scared to death and asked whether I was hurt. I stood up quickly and told her, "That is O.K. Nothing is hurt." My wife continued, "He is a Dafa practitioner and no one can hurt him." I knew that Dafa had rewarded me, and Master had protected me. I am very grateful for Dafa and grateful that Master has saved my life.

One day I received a call from my hometown in China and I was told that my brother had been in a car accident, leaving him with brain and spinal cord injuries. He was comatose in a hospital for five days. The whole family was frantic and did not know what to do. The doctor told them, "His condition is so severe that he is unlikely to survive."

My first reaction was to tell my family that they had to believe me and believe what I said so he could be saved. I asked my family to go to his bedside and repeatedly say, "Falun Dafa is good!"

My brother had previously read Zhuan Falun and knew that Falun Dafa is good. He also gave me some phone numbers so I could call people in China letting them know about the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" and promote the three withdrawals from the communist organizations.

Several days later I called my family again to find out about my brother. My family told me that a miracle had taken place after they whispered to him only a few times, "Falun Gong is good!" My brother opened his eyes, which his attending physician considered unbelievable. My brother survived! I could tell how happy my family was and knew this was the power of Dafa and that Master had given my brother second life.

Ten days later, my brother was transferred from intensive care to regular care. He started listening to Master's lectures and improving daily. He started out not from speaking at all to speaking single words and then to speaking whole sentences. From being bedridden, he began walking with assistance a month later. When he was discharged, he was able to walk out of the hospital with some aid. Now he is able to walk slowly by himself in the yard. My brother later asked me to thank Master. My brother, whom we assumed would not survive, is alive and has gradually recovered enough to be like a normal person again.
