Panjin City (Liaoning Province) Police Arrest Many Falun Dafa Practitioners and Their Family Members

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 24, 2007, the police illegally arrested Falun Dafa practitioners and their family members. The officers were from the Dawa County National Security Division, a subsidiary of the Dawa County Police Department in Panjin City, Liaoning Province, and officers from the National Security Division of Panjin City Police Department. They seized four practitioners and their family members without showing any identification and in front of a crowd of bystanders. Dawa National Security Division deputy head Fu Zhenguo led several police to conduct the arrest. The four practitioners are Mr. Liu Wanxiang (in his 50s), Ms. Liu Yulan (50), Ms. Zhang Shen (50) and Ms. Guo Bo. Zhang Shen's husband Ji (non-practitioner) and their son, and Guo Bo's husband Cong (non-practitioner) were also arrested. They were all locked up in the Dawa County Detention Center.

The evil conduct of the police aroused indignation and criticism among the local people. On the morning of March 28, 2007, in Dawa Town, the seat of the Dawa County Government, many posters were put up along streets and lanes with reminders including, "Falun Dafa is good," "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good," "The Heavens are eliminating the CCP; quit the CCP to save yourself," "Believing in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is no crime; immediately release detained Dafa practitioners and their family members!" "Good and Evil receiving their due is a heavenly principle," and "Stop persecuting good people who believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." These posters were seen everywhere in the town, and people cheerfully stopped to read them.

People who had learned the truth sincerely praised practitioners, saying, "Falun Gong is amazing" and "Falun Gong practitioners are wonderful and have done well." "Falun Gong is truly good! Those practitioners are indeed being treated unjustly." "The CCP's policies are so wicked and defy all reason. The CCP's police officers that are committing these crimes are monsters."
