Seven Female Falun Dafa Practitioners From Shanxi Province Illegally Arrested


(Clearwisdom.net) At around ten o'clock on the evening of February 27, 2007, in Fenxi County, Shanxi Province, seven people were arrested by the Xi County Police. Their names are Guo Jiming, Hou Baoliang, Yang Yu'ai, Zhang Xuelian, Xiu Ai, Gui Zhen, and Yu Xiu.

The seven who were arrested were reportedly housewives, whose ages ranged from 40 to 60, and they are Falun Gong practitioners. Carrying solid foods and walking many miles, they risked their lives to clarify the truth, in hopes that more people would have bright futures.

After the seven Falun Gong practitioners were arrested, the Fenxi County Public Security Bureau and the local police station refused to accept them. The seven practitioners were sent to Gu County, Houma, Xiangfen, Quwo and Hongdongand by the authorities and were illegally detained and persecuted there, with the exception of Guo Jiming, who is over 60 years old and is in critical condition due to being persecuted. She was taken home by her family, while the other six practitioners are still being brutally persecuted.
