Police Station Manager Speaks the Truth after Learning the Facts

A police station manager at a town in Hebei Province was invited to a dinner party. He told a group of over ten township officials and police officers that Falun Gong practitioners were good people. A person in the party reminded him of his occupation and warned him of the potential impact to his career. He replied, "Our superiors order us to arrest Falun Gong practitioners, but practitioners are good people and I will not participate in persecuting good people."

Not long after I began Falun Gong practice, Jiang gave orders for Falun Gong to be persecuted. Members from the local residents' committee, police station, and National Security Office came to me often and tried to convince me to renounce and give up the practice.

Early one morning, the local police station again sent officers to my house. A kind police captain had been secretly protecting me. After other local police station officers left, he told me that he had been watching on the side for about 15 minutes, and he was going to strike the local officer if he had touched me in any way. It was alright for him to strike an officer, and he would not be punished for it because I did not break any laws and all I did was practice Falun Gong.

I live not far from a female colleague of mine and we keep in contact often. Her family knows that I am a practitioner, and they believe that Falun Gong is good, especially since they saw the change in me after I started practicing Falun Gong. Her husband turned off the TV whenever he saw a TV program that defamed Falun Gong. He indignantly told me that the Chinese government officials, from the highest to the lowest, are a circus of corruption and embezzlement, and that officials don't care about the livelihood of the unemployed but spend a huge amount of financial and human resources to persecute Falun Gong. It very simply shows the incompetency and insignificance of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party).
