My Experience Clarifying the Facts to Police Officers

(Clearwisdom.net) Due to a predestined relationship, I started to
practice Falun Dafa in February 1998. Dafa has given me a second life. I firmly
believe in Dafa and Teacher. Since the persecution started on July 20, 1999, I
have never hesitated to clarify the facts about the persecution of
Falun Gong to people who pressured me to give up Dafa, especially police
officers who were directly involved in the persecution. I had cancer before I started practicing Falun Dafa. After I went through the
treatments, I could only take in liquid food. However, a few days after I
started practicing Dafa, Teacher purified my body. Suddenly, I could eat normal
food again. The black marks on my face disappeared. My two sisters and my
seventy-year-old mother saw these changes, and they also started to practice
Dafa. I was deeply grateful to Teacher for his compassion. I studied the Fa
earnestly and felt that it was my duty to spread the Fa and tell everyone about
the beauty of Dafa. When the persecution started in July 20, 1999, I did not have any fear. No
matter when it was or where I was, I acted with righteous thoughts following the
Fa and validating the Fa. I remember once in 2000, the police arrested over a
dozen practitioners in our area. Agents from the police station called my
workplace and asked me to stop by. On my way there, I thought, "I have no
fear." Teacher clearly stated: "If you are a true practitioner, our Falun will safeguard you. I am
rooted in the universe. If anyone can harm you, he or she would be able to
harm me. Put simply, that person would be able to harm this universe."

Dafa," 2000 translation) When I arrived at the police station, there were five or six police officers
waiting for me. One of them asked, "Do you know why we have asked you to
come? We have arrested 17 people, you are the 18th. We had planned to arrest
you, but your boss said that you are a good person. So we asked you to come and
answer some questions. Who have you visited? And who have you had contact with?
..." I calmly replied, "I did not visit anyone's home. Don't I have
the right to talk to people when I run into them on the street?" At that
time, Teacher's words appeared in my mind, "The same applies to human beings, who possess Buddha-nature and
demon-nature at the same time." (Essentials for Further Advancement,
"Buddha-Nature and Demon-Nature") I wanted to guide them so that their Buddha-nature would win over their
demon-nature. I told them about my personal cultivation experience and how I had
benefited from Dafa. I wanted them to know about the magnificence of Dafa, and
the mercifulness and compassion of Teacher. After a while, they were not as mean
as before and they did not get any information from me. One day in 2004, my supervisor came to me and asked me to sign a
guarantee statement that had already been written. I took a look at
it and immediately returned it to her. I told her that I would not sign it. She said, "I knew you would not write it, so I wrote it for you. You
just need to sign it so that we can report it as being done." I said,
"We practice Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. I don't lie.
Truthfulness means telling the truth, doing things truthfully, becoming a
truthful person, and returning to the original, true self, and in the end,
becoming a true person through cultivation. If I cannot follow the first word of
Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, how could I cultivate?" Finally, my
supervisor left. The next day, she asked me to come to her office. Another supervisor who knew
me asked, "Did you really not take any medicine the past few years? No
shots?" I said, "You can ask the people I work with to see if any one
of them saw me take medicine or shots. I am the only one in the entire workshop
who has not taken any medicine -- you can check the records." My supervisor asked me again, "You really won't sign?" I replied,
"I am sorry. It is not that I do not respect you. If anyone else would ask
me, my answer would still be no." Thus, I passed another test. After some time, two people from the city police bureau visited my home one
day. It just so happened that I wasn't at home. They asked my mother-in-law
where I went. That evening when my husband came home and heard that police
officers were at our home, he became angry and violent. I realized that it was
for me to improve my xinxing and enlightenment quality. I remembered
Teacher's Fa, "Be resolute cultivating Dafa, the mind unstirred (Hong Yin II-A, "True Character is Revealed") The next morning, I practiced the exercises. My husband was not happy, but my
heart was not moved. When I left for work, I said to him, "Do not treat me
like this. You need to be clear about what is good and what is evil. I will go
to the police bureau this afternoon and tell them not to come here
anymore." After I got off work, I went to the police bureau and found the director of a
sub-bureau who had gone to my home. I asked him, "Do your police officers
discipline good people or bad people?" He said, "Bad people, of
course." I said, "Then why did you come to my home and harass my
family and disrupt our peace at home. Our teacher taught us to cultivate
Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Tell me which one is not good. Why drag us
into politics? Our Teacher said in his article, 'Other than doing a good job
with his work, a cultivator will not be interested in politics or political
power of any sort; failing this, he absolutely isn't my disciple.' (Essentials

Political")" At this moment, another person in the room said, "Another incorrigible
one who refuses to be transformed." I turned around and told him,
"What is incorrigible? Think about it, Falun Gong saved so many lives by
cultivating Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. If your life was spared because
you learned it, would you give it up?" I told them how my family had benefited from the cultivation practice. I
said, "Before I started practicing, I was tormented by cancer. Living was
worse than dying. But I recovered after I learned Dafa." Another person in the room said, "If it is like what you said, why do we
need hospitals?" I replied, "Our teacher said in the book, 'As a genuine practitioner, however, you cannot practice cultivation with
an ill body. I will purify your body. The body purification will be done only
for those who come to truly learn the practice and the Fa.' (Zhuan Falun,
2000 translation, Lecture One, Genuinely Guiding people Toward High Levels)" He asked again, "your teacher is in America, right?" I said,
"Our teacher is not only in America. Falun Gong has spread all over the
world. Our Teacher said, 'The nature of the universe--Dafa--is present everywhere and encompasses
the entire cosmic body, from the macroscopic level to the microscopic level.
The Dafa I teach today is not only taught to Eastern people, but also to
Westerners at the same time. Their kind people should also be saved. All
nationalities that should enter the next, new historical era will obtain the
Fa and improve as a whole. It is not just a matter of one nationality.' (Essentials
For Further Advancement, "A Brief Explanation of Shan") You should all remember that Falun Dafa is good and
Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. You will be blessed." By then, they all smiled kindly. The director told me, "You can go home
now. No one will go to your home again." Recalling the experience of clarifying the facts to police officers and
avoiding being arrested, I felt that fundamentally, I listened to Teacher,
studied the Fa well and remembered the Fa. As a result, I knew how to clarify
the facts at crucial moments. Teacher told us, "The Fa can break all attachments, the Fa can destroy all evil, the Fa
can shatter all lies, and the Fa can strengthen righteous thoughts." (Essentials
