(Clearwisdom.net) There are many practitioners who have not done well in truth-clarification, and they are very worried about their cultivation. However, although we cannot miss opportunities, too much anxiety over this is also an attachment that could negatively influence our saving sentient beings. For example, when some practitioners have such anxiety, they tend to go to extremes, always thinking of going to populated areas to clarify the truth. Some practitioners will spend lots of time every day on planning where to clarify the truth. However, sometimes things did not go as expected, and they were unable to clarify the truth after arriving there. As a result, they were very upset and the frustration could even weaken their confidence in further truth-clarification.
In "Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference," Teacher said,
"Also, with those people that you run into by chance, who you run into in daily life, and the people you run into at work, you should all clarify the truth to them. Even when in your daily life you pass by people so quickly that you don't have a chance to talk to them, you should still leave them with your compassion and kindness. Don't lose those who should be saved, especially those with predestined connections. Actually, a lot of Dafa disciples say when they're clarifying the truth, "I'm going to go clarify the truth now," as if at that moment they're going to clarify the truth, but they don't clarify the truth normally. Saving beings should permeate every single aspect of your daily lives at this time. If you can all understand and really see its importance, I think you'll probably save more beings."
From these words, I enlightened to the fact that we need to make use of every aspect of life to clarify the truth, that is, tell people the facts. Here I would like to share my experience of truth-clarification during one day. I hope other practitioners can add to it.
One day, my daughter and I went to a public bathhouse. There were also a mother and daughter taking a bath there. I asked them, "Have you heard about quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its subordinate organizations?" They said, "It is something related to Falun Gong." I asked them, "Isn't Falun Gong good?" I then went on to tell them the truth about the so-called self-immolation incident, the history of the CCP, the 270 million-year-old rock that foretells the CCP's destruction, etc. Since it seemed that they could only accept that much, I did not try to persuade them to quit the CCP.
When buying tofu at noon, I told the vendor about quitting the CCP. At that time, a middle-aged man selling fruit was passing by. He asked me, "What did you say?" This person obviously had a strong predestined relationship and he was anxious to hear the truth. He agreed with everything I told him. Finally, his entire family quit the CCP and its subordinate organizations. Seeing this, the tofu vendor also quit the CCP.
At that time, there was a fellow practitioner passing by. I asked her, "Have you quit the CCP and it subordinate organizations?" She replied, "Of course, my entire family has done so. In fact, more than 20 million people have done so on the Internet." Then she left. The middle-aged man said, "Wow! So many people have heard about this!" I also told him, "Quitting the CCP will bring a better future for ourselves. And telling others to do so will also be rewarded by heaven." This way, they will no longer wonder if I have ulterior motives related to politics; plus they can also save other people. He was very happy, "Thank you, I will tell more people about this!"
In the afternoon, I was visiting a friend. Although this friend had declared he would quit the CCP because of me, I thought it was necessary for him to be clearer. So with wisdom, I shared more facts with him. When I was on the street on the way back, a meat vendor was smiling at me. I said to him, "It seems we have met somewhere before, and we probably have a predestined relationship." Then I clarified the truth to him, and he was very interested. When I asked if he had quit the CCP and its subordinate organizations, however, he said, "No one in my family has joined such organizations." It seemed that he was just making this up as he was also somewhat laughing at me. I was not disturbed, and smiled at him, "Not joining those organizations is better. Otherwise, one has to quit them." I thought that, although he did not quit, it would be much easier when another practitioner clarified the truth to him again later. As I was walking down the street, when encountering people I did not have a chance to talk with, I would send forth righteous thoughts to eradicate the CCP's evil specter on them, and sincerely hoped they could have a chance to hear the truth.
Then I went to a small store to buy something. I did not have an opportunity to talk much with the store owner. Still, I said to him, "Have you heard about quitting the CCP and its subordinate organizations? My friend told me about this, and my entire family has done so. One will have a better future after quitting the CCP and its subordinate organizations." I do not miss any opportunity, and always tell others this wonderful news.
After returning home, my sister-in-law came for dinner. She already understands the truth. I shared with her some stories of reincarnation. It was still the atmosphere of truth-clarification. I did not feel any attachment, since truth-clarification seemed to be a very natural part of my life, and I did not have anxiety when talking about these things.
I realized that for those who quit the CCP and its subordinate organizations after I spoke to them, actually it was Teacher who provided such opportunities. For those who did not quit, it was because I did not clarify the truth beforehand. From my experiences during that one day, I realized that although nothing appears extraordinary, we will encounter people with predestined relationships as long as we do things from our heart.
