(Clearwisdom.net) On May 13, 2007, Mr. Richard C. Howard, Mayor of the City of Malden, Massachusetts, declared May 13, 2007 as World Falun Dafa Day.

Whereas, Falun Dafa is an advanced exercise and meditation practice of mind, body and spirit based on principles of truthfulness, compassion and forbearance; and

Whereas, Falun Dafa practitioners are joyously celebrating their Eighth Annual World Falun Dafa Day in May 13, 2007 with festivals and events to be held across the United States and worldwide; and

Whereas, Falun Dafa's contribution to society has been widely recognized and honored around the world since Mr. Li Hongzhi introduced it to the public in 1992; and

Whereas, Falun Dafa transcends cultural and racial boundaries and contributes to the universal dream of a peaceful, tolerant and more compassionate society;

Therefore, I, Richard C. Howard, Mayor of the City of Malden, do hereby declare May 13, 2007 as "World Falun Dafa Day".
