Mr. Liu Xueming, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Xinjin County, was "illegally sentenced" to seven years imprisonment by the Xinjin County Court in September 2002. He was severely tortured when he was imprisoned at Zigong Prison in Sichuan Province. In 2005 he was transferred to the No. 2 Hospital of the Wumaping Prison at Leshan. Mr. Liu's wife and daughter were forced to leave their home and now Mr. Liu is dying as a result of the persecution.

On April 25, 2007, the Longnan Public Security Bureau in Daqing City arrested local practitioners Mr. Liu Bo, Ms. Ren Xiuping, Ms. Hong Lanying, Ms. Li Guixiang, Ms. Li Hui, and Ms. He and took them to the Longnan Public Security Sub-bureau. Some of the practitioners' homes were illegally searched. The police also forced Mr. Liu Bo to sit on the "iron stool," a form of torture, and wouldn't let him eat.

The Shijiazhuang Intermediate Court gave notice that the hearing of Ms. Wang Bo's case would be open to the public and anyone could come to observe, providing that they obtain an observer's card one day before the hearing and bring to the trial their household registration book and ID. Twenty-seven people got their observers' cards, and that same evening the police went to their homes and threatened or limited their personal freedom. When the hearing started in the morning on April 26, the door of the Intermediate Court was heavily guarded, and there were policemen standing everywhere. When Ms. Qiu Liying went into the Intermediate Court with her observer's card, she was arrested and the police destroyed her card. Ms. Liang Yening was also arrested at the door.

In the afternoon on April 29, Ms. Shi Xiangdong, who was observing the trial, was arrested and detained at the Changzhen Street Police Substation in the Dongqiao District. When her husband, Mr. Liu Xin, went to the police station to ask for her, he was also arrested and their home was searched.

At 8:30 a.m. on April 20, the Yilan Court held an illegal trial for Ms. Guan Fengqian, Mr. Sun Ren, and Mr. Ma Honggang under pressure from the Harbin City departments of public security, its Procuratorate, and the court.

On April 24 and 26, 2007, the three members of Ms. Yang Tiezhen's family (Ms. Yang Tiezhen, Mr. Liu Yonghui, and Ms. Zhai Huiling) who reside in the Fengtai District of Beijing, were illegally arrested from home after the police searched their home twice and confiscated their personal belongings including a computer.

Ms. Chen Zhenying, a Falun Dafa practitioner from An'xiang County, Changde City, is 71 years old. On October 15, 2006, when she was distributing truth-clarifying materials at Baoheti Town, Jinshi, Chengde, she was reported and arrested. Ms. Chen Zhenying is currently detained at Jinshi Detention Center.

At 7:00 p.m. on April 24, 2007, 610 Office personnel from the Lianyungang City Public Security Bureau arrested Lianyungang City practitioner Ms. Liu Yan from her home.

In the afternoon on April 21, 2007, Shunyi District 610 Office agents arrested Ms. Gao Xiufeng, a practitioner from Mulin Town in the Shunyi District, Beijing, from her home. The police confiscated her Dafa books and materials. Ms. Gao is being detained in the Shunyi District Detention Center.

10.[Yongnian County, Hebei Province] Police Break into Female Practitioner's Bedroom in Arrest AttemptIn the middle of the night on April 22, several policemen from Team Seven of the Criminal Team of Yongnian County climbed over a wall and broke into a female practitioner's bedroom, trying to arrest her. They were driven out of the bedroom by the practitioner's angry husband. This practitioner was forced to leave home to avoid further persecution.

On the evening on March 21, 2007, Wu'an City police arrested Ms. Li Haiqi, Ms. Zhang Gaiye, and Ms. Lu Guoxia when they were distributing truth-clarifying materials. At 9:00 p.m. someone was arrested by the police of the Qinghua Police Substation and taken to Wu'an City Detention Center. The next morning, the police of the Wu'an City 610 Office and the Hejin Town Police Substation illegally searched the practitioners' homes.

In the morning on March 28, Ms. Li Haiqi's neighbors saw the police and some plainclothes officers arrest her and take her to the hospital. Ms. Li was handcuffed and shackled while being given oxygen. Later it was confirmed that Ms. Li went on a hunger strike at the detention center to protest the persecution.

In the afternoon of April 8, 2007, Ms. He Xiuping, a practitioner from Lu County, Rizhao City, was arrested when she was distributing truth-clarifying materials on Xihuan Road in Beishou.

On April 6, 2007, police arrested Ms. Feng Jinlan, a practitioner from Tongzhou, Beijing, from the area of the Tongzhou District Chengtie Bus Station and took her to the Liyuan Police Substation. Meanwhile, the police illegally searched her home. Ms. Feng is being held at the detention center.

At 10:30 p.m. on April 7, 2007, police from the Yuehe Village Police Substation of Tangshan City arrested Mr. Xu Xiangzhi and Mr. Zhao Yunlong of Dafenggu, the Kaiping District. In the middle of the night, police led by Fu Huaili went to Ms. Xu Xiuchun's home and arrested her and Mr. Zhao Yunlong's wife, Ms. Tong Baofeng. The police also confiscated their personal belongings including their computer. Ms. Tong Baofeng was released the next day. Currently, Mr. Xu Xiangzhi, Mr. Zhao Yunlong and Ms. Xu Xiuchun are still being detained at Tangshan City No. 1 Detention Center.

At around 3:00 p.m. on April 17, police arrested Ms. Gao Shuhua of Boli County, Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province from her home. Mr. Bian Jing, a fellow practitioner who was at her home, was also arrested, and his personal belongings, including a computer, were confiscated.

Two other practitioners including Ms. Li Shuqin were also arrested from their home.

On the evening of April 18, 2007, seven or eight policemen from the National Security Team of Weifang, the National Security Team of Weicheng, and the Beiguang Police Substation of the Weicheng District broke into Mr. Tang Foli's home in Beiguang, the Weicheng District, and made an illegal search. They confiscated Mr. Tang's personal property and about 65 thousand yuan in cash. Mr. Tan Foli is now detained in the Beiguang Police Substation in the Weicheng District.

In March 2007, police arrested Mr. Gao Zhengjia, a practitioner from Anlu, when he was distributing Falun Dafa truth-clarifying materials in Yunmeng. Later, Anlu Police arrested Mr. Huang Xuejun. He is detained at Yunmeng Detention Center.

Four or five practitioners including Mr. Xu Guojun from Ashisi Team, Jiangnan Fengman Village, Jilin City, were arrested in April 2007. They have each been sentenced to one year of forced labor.

Ms. Wu Kui, a practitioner from Zigong City, Sichuan Province, went with Mr. Wen Xinxin to Ms. Hu Shufang's home at the beginning of March. Police from the Youxi Street Police Substation, Gongjing Public Security Sub-bureau, Zhigong City, broke into Ms. Hu's home and arrested the three practitioners. Ms. Wu refused to cooperate with the illegal arrest and was forced into the police vehicle. She was severely beaten and had bruises all over her body.

The three practitioners were taken to the Wuyun Village Police Substation in Zhigong City. Ms. Wu Kui was severely beaten and then handcuffed in a painful position for eight days. She had blood in her urine as a result of the abuse.

Practitioners Ms. Zhang Yufeng and her husband, Mr. Yu Xianwu, along with Ms. Yang Aiping, all three from Anjiabao Village, Wanquan County, Zhangjiakou City, were arrested on April 28.

Mr. Zou Xiangyang, over 40 years old, a PhD graduate, is a teacher from Changchun Engineering Institute. In 2002, he was arrested and jailed at Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp. He almost died as a result of torture. In 2004, he was released on bail for medical treatment. At 6:00 p.m. on April 15, 2007, the police from Kuanping Dalu Police Substation broke into Mr. Zou's home and conducted an illegal search. They confiscated his Dafa books and also arrested him. Mr. Zou is currently in the Changchun City No. 2 Detention Center.

Ms. Zhao Qiuya, a practitioner from Pucheng County, was reported to the police when she was clarifying the truth. In the afternoon on April 12, 2004, the National Security Team of the Pucheng County Public Security Bureau, led by Li Hui'an, arrested her. She has been jailed since then.

On the evening of April 19, 2007, three policemen from Dongxing Police Substation in the Didao District, Jixi City, broke into Mr. Chen Weiquan's home and arrested him. They also confiscated his Falun Dafa book.

In mid-March, Ms. Lu Jianying, a practitioner from Hangzhou City, was arrested from her home and has since been sentenced to one and a half years' imprisonment. On April 16, she was sent to Wukang Forced Labor Camp.

In the morning of April 29, 2007, police from the Erdao District Public Security Sub-bureau and the Dongzhan Police Substation went to Ms. Dai Shanling's home in Binhe Xincun, forced open her door, and made an illegal search of her home. The police arrested Ms. Dai after confiscating her Dafa materials.

At 8:00 p.m. on April 25, Paotai Police Substation officers and Wafangdian 610 Office personnel forcefully arrested Ms. Wang Min, a practitioner around 40 years old, from Lixin Village, Paotai Town, Wafangdian City, Dalian. A computer and a copy machine in her home were confiscated. Ms. Wang is now in the Wafangdian City Detention Center.

On April 8, 2007, Wang Baosen, the chief of the 610 Office and deputy chief of the Security Section of the Pangang 502 Electricity-generating Factory, collaborated with the police from the Dongqu Public Security Sub-bureau of the Panzhihua City Public Security Bureau to arrest Mr. Zhang Yuntao.

On around April 12, Ms. Yan Baoping, a third-year student of the Pangang Electric Institute, was also arrested.

Ms. Wang Junying, a 59-year-old practitioner, was arrested by the police when she was clarifying the truth on April 29. She was taken to Sujiatun Detention Center.

Mr. Lin Shoujin, a practitioner from Yilong County, was released after he paid one thousand yuan for bail. Ms. Xian Yuzhen was arrested and taken out of town.

On April 25, officers from the Beiyuan Town Police Substation, Tianqiao District, Jinan City, arrested Ms. Chen Shuxiang and Ms. Du Shuqing when they were distributing truth-clarifying materials. They are currently being held at the detention center. On April 27, the police searched Ms. Du Shuqing and Ms. Chen Shuxiang's home and confiscated a computer.

Ms. Zhou Mei, a practitioner from Beijing, started a hunger strike on February 26 to protest the beatings by police at Beijing Women's Jail.

On April 2, 2007, Ms. Liu Zhenrong was reported to the police when she was clarifying the truth and was subsequently arrested. On April 23, Ms. Liu Shuying, a practitioner from the Fangshan District, was arrested and her Dafa materials were confiscated. Ms. Li Jinfang, from Guce Village, had her MP3 player confiscated. Ms. Chen, a practitioner from Zhoukoudian, was also arrested.

Mr. Chai Shuhu, a practitioner from the Ranhu Road Railway Station in Daqing City, was handcuffed by a group of police officers who broke into his home on the morning of April 29, 2007. His personal belongings, including a computer, printer, paper cutter, etc. were confiscated. Mr. Chai is currently being held at the Dulitun No. 3 Detention center of Daqing City. His family was not allowed to visit him.

On the evening of April 12, Deputy Director of the Weixing Road Police Substation of Chaoyang Public Security Subbureau Wang Maolin and policeman Gao Zhenwei arrested Ms. Jiang Shuwen, 44 years old. On April 23, Ms. Guo Jinzhi, 54 years old, and Ms. Mou Guilan, 56 years old, were also arrested.

Over one hundred policemen led by the Chenxi County Political and Judicial Department, the county 610 Office, the National Security Team, the Public Security Bureau, and the Police Substation conducted large-scale arrests of practitioners on the "blacklist" from 10:00 p.m. on April 26 to 2:00 a.m. the next morning. They broke into and illegally searched the practitioners' homes and arrested Mr. Ou Jiafa, Ms. Tang Xiaomei, and Mr. Xiao Wu. Mr. Xiao Wu left the police substation with strong righteous thoughts that same evening and has since become homeless to avoid further persecution. The other two practitioners are still being tortured at the detention center.

Mr. Hu Shaowei, a practitioner from Huludao City who is currently detained at Jinzhou Forced Labor Camp, should have completed his labor camp term on April 26. Because he went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution, his term was illegally extended for seven days to May 2.

Since April 2007, the Yingquan District Public Security Bureau has arrested over a dozen practitioners and detained them at a brainwashing center in a hotel close to the Yingquan District Public Security Bureau.

Ms. Fang Chongfeng, a PhD graduate from Nanjing Normal University, is 36 years old. On April 13, 2007, she was detained by the National Security Team of the Nanjing City Public Security Bureau and taken to the Nanjing Detention Center for posting truth-clarification materials at Nanjing Engineering Institute. Ms. Fang is being tortured at the Nanjing Detention Center.

At around 5:00 p.m. on April 26, 2007, Mr. Da Weizi, a practitioner from Gongzilou, Benxi was arrested by the police and his current whereabouts are unknown

At around 2:00 p.m. on April 27, 2007, Ms. Jiang Yanmei, a practitioner from Yongtai County, Fuzhou City, was arrested by the Fuzhou and Yongtai County 610 Office. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
