Mr. Joe Hockey, Federal Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations, New South Wales Premier Morris Iemma, Chris Hartcher, member of state Parliament and Mr. Clover Moore, the mayor of Sydney, sent congratulation letters to the Falun Dafa Association in Australia.

Practitioners held a parade at 11:00 am. The parade started in Chinatown, consisting of three groups. The first group featured the Divine Land Marching Band, exercise demonstration and traditional Chinese dances. The second group memorialized fellow practitioners persecuted to death, and exposed the persecution and organ harvesting. The third group called upon people to help stop the persecution and quit the CCP.

After the parade, practitioners performed Chinese dances and song. They also held a photo exhibition to expose the persecution.

A Chinese couple likes the parade. They are proud of Falun Gong.

A tourist praised Falun Gong. He said: "The 2008 Olympics should not be held in China. The whole world should oppose the persecution."
